Good location, nice rooms and friendly staff

Kia ora Scott, Thanks for the review- I'm glad you enjoyed your room and the service form our friendly team. I noted that you experienced a slight delay with the valet service retrieving your car and we apologise for that. We do aim to return cars as promptly as possible, but as a precaution, state on the parking card given to guests to allow for a 30 minute time period. I'm sorry if this was missed, or not pointed out to you and will take on board that we could do better at communicating or reaffirming this message with our guests. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent as were the staff in the dining room. The room was a bit dated and there was a very unusual set up with too much furniture in our room no 445. There seems to be a couch which was unnecessary and made the dining table too difficult to use much. The beds were comfortable.

My expectations were more. Staff were great. But the room was cold. The tissue box was half used. No slippers.
