The hotel is clean and tidy, close to transport. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were excellent. 3 minute walk to train, less than 15 mins to the airport. Had a quick look at the almost complete Memorial project in Hyde Park.

There is no parking at the hotel to check in. Basically you have to park on a busy street and risk getting a parking ticket or the anger of Sydney commuters for blocking up the route. The staff were very helpful but the Check in Desk area is very small and it shares a common area with a small bar and the corridor where the elevators are situated. Basically if 4 or more people are in the same area, it is crowded. Parking for your vehicle is $55 Dollars for 24 hrs and is across the road where you have walk across the street with your suitcases and belongings. We were going to a Black tie function so had to carry suit and dress holders through the street etc. The room was small but clean and the bathroom / en suite was tiny. I could not find fault with the friendly staff but I find that the entrance area, check in desk area, bar far too cluttered and the mix of people checking in or out, with people sitting at the bar plus through traffic from the elevators far to claustrophobic.

Arranged a quick trip to Sydney to some shopping with the teenage kids and needed a 4 person room without the need for two rooms, Ibis was the only hotel that could provide a family room at a good price. Great space and not too crowded with a big bathroom. Only issue was the air conditioning which was not able to be adjusted, the room was way too hot all night.

The breakfast wasn't good the same thing every morning. The room was fine and clean the receptionist the day we arrived the man was very nice but the lady wasn't friendly.

Practical hotel where room is clean, has tea-making facilities & fridge, well-ventilated washroom and friendly staff. Supermarket & pharmacy are just opposite and has long business hours. Very near to Chinatown and walking distance to Darling Harbour. A possibility for improvement is on the knowledge of frontdesk for guest looking for directions to the attractions as we wasted some time looking for a bus stop but this bus does not go there and only a short walk is required.

We participated the bridge run and back to hotel a bit late. We tried to check out before 12:00. But the card keys did not work and time was running out. I went to the reception to fix the card key, I think she did for the room door but not lift. I couldn’t get to the floor we were staying but a manager helped me to get the room and extend the checkout time for us. It was so helpful and we enjoyed staying there. Thank you so much.

Stayed for a short overnight stay. The bed was super comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay relaxing. I had requested two latex pillows and they were waiting on my bed when I arrived in my room. All interactions with staff was amazing and they all made me feel like I was at home.

My experience at the Ibis Sydney World Square was very good. The hotel is close to all public transport. It's easy to the Airport train direct to the Museum Station with a very short walk to the hotel. The room was neat and clean with a great shower. The employees were always polite, and helpful. My only suggestion would be to improve the dining room decor and make it more inviting and comfortable, it is very bland.
