« Disappointed with overal quality »

The staff at reception were friendly however that was the only positive. There was constant maintenance throughout my stay making it very noisy. I was woken almost every morning to banging noises. There was a really bad smell that comes from the bathroom as soon as you walk into the room (1202), on the Saturday morning it also smelt like cigarette smoke. The smell could possibly be due to the plumbing issues that were also happening. The water was shut off for 2 hours. I was woken again on the Saturday when I was sick in bed to ask why I hadn't checked out as they couldn't find my booking in the system.

no issues - clean room - friendly staff - hot water - what else is needed. The only issue was the crappy tv remote. I needed to stand directly in front of the tv to change channels etc. I could not lay in bed to change tv channels.

« didn't llok forward to gong home to my hotel room. Very small room, with not much room for getting dressed etc. Also airconditionning with no remote was tiring. »

No remote for the ai-rconditioner ie it being managed by reception made it a very budget hotel experience. room at 21 degrees was cold when I returned at end of day. I had to phone receiption daily to get them to warm the room - which then blasted out hot air right above my head (head of bed) while I was trying to sleep. I would phone to ask them to turn this down before I wend to sleep and would wake at 3am to find it was still going. Also _ I only went to breakfast once as I could not walk around the dining room as too overcrowed between large tales of groups.

« Great Stay except for the hammering of the fitout upgrades »

During the first two days of our stay, we were impressed that Ibis have placed us in a newly fitted out room, except that there was still fresh paint smell. On the second day, we could hear loud hammering from the fitout upgrades being done on the other floors so we requested for a room change and even got upgraded. We are still a satisfied Accor Member and would still recommend this hotel.

« A no-fuss stay »

A very pleasant welcome by Reception. Check-in was simple. Quiet room. Unable to adjust air conditioning during the night when the room became a little stuffy. Shower flooded the bathroom floor. Nice food from the dining room. All staff friendly. Easy check-out.

« Great location »

Did not expect to be woken by banging etc - was not prewarned renovations were being carried out before booking. Staff friendly and helpful. Found room very cold. Had to make two separate bookings as some nights were within a special deal,range and others not- then website did not work so had to phone to make second booking.
