Even though this hotel has recently been renovated, there were a number of areas that did not work.Room temperature was cold and was controlled by reception, they ended up bringing me a heater which was in poor condition.Wardrobe door does not fully open and hits bedside table, cannot put ironing board away or even view full length mirror.Vanity basin was large and very little room to place any toiletries on bench, no drawers, shelves etcBed was comfortable but only a thin quilt provided - no additional blankets

The staff were extremely helpful. We had several issues with the room. The first night we had no hot water. The reception staff tried to assist and attempted to reset the boiler. But to no avail. We where offered to move rooms or even just use the bathroom in another room on the floor for hot showers. But we had already had quick showers and just wanted to sleep. The hot water was fixed the next day. Then I noticed a small on the bathroom floor on returning that evening and again reported to reception on our way out to dinner. This appeared to be a small leak coming from the wall. I understood the hotel was under taking renovations to bathrooms in the hotel and our floor was meant to be complete. So felt obligated to notify this small leak before major water damage occurred. Your people on reception offered me complimentary drinks, which was very nice but not required so was politely declined. I really just wanted to give them the opportunity to see and repair what could turn into major and expensive. It was of no inconvenience to us. The bathroom wasn't flood just a slow trickle heading to the drain.

Brilliant, I couldn't have asked for more. I was constantly asking staff for directions to all the places I needed to get to, every one of them took plenty of time to explain where to get trains and buses. The room was warm and larger than what I expected.

I have been an Accor member for many years and stay with most brand hotels. This was my second stay! We were met by a lovely receptionist who was very welcoming, organised our complimentary wine and welcomed us to the motel. When we reached our room we had a little box of complimentary Lottie’s and water, AND a lovely bottle of complimentary wine! What a lovely surprise! Our room was a good size, bed very comfortable and we were close to eateries. A great stay and we will be back!

The free king room upgrade was nice, of course. The room did feel cramped. And given it was only a short stay, I didn't get a chance to explore all of the facilities the hotel offered. So I didn't feel confident enough about it to give it a 10. I definitely enjoyed my stay and will be back again for sure.

The central location was very welcome. Also important that Taxi's are able to stop in front of the hotel. And self-help Laundry was very useful! The staff were all very friendly. We'd like to give special thanks to Leona who made us feel very welcome at breakfast, and also delivered our one room service meal. She remained friendly even when the salt container fell twice and all the salt spilled on the table! You really need to change those salt grinders as their lids are loose and besides many of them just turn around without grinding the salt anymore.

Apart from being a little loud even on the 17th floor, the room had everything you wanted, wifi through the hotel and you could leave your luggage for the day.

Bed etc fine - large TV screen with very bright on button that couldn't be dimmed /or covered (too high/too big) plus street noise more than I anticipated. Hadn't been advised the place was a building site either - didn't impact me but think it should have been made clear before booking

The reception staff were overall attentive and attended to our request fairly promptly which was appreciated. The only down side was when prior asked re transport to the Hotel and Airport was told there no such service. However on arriving at the Hotel we did discover there was a private pick up bus service to the Airport that can be ordered prior to departure.

The girls at reception where just wonderful. I was new to Sydney and had a lot of questions - they were gracious with every single one. My luggage was stored for me when I had to checkout early but attend a conference. Initial room was unsuitable because it was so noisy (next to bar) they upgraded me to 16th floor where it was super quiet. Very happy with how I was treated.

First time, I felt a bit not looked after at this property. I understand the rooms typically get available from 2pm at all hotels. Some properties I have been to, they allocate rooms earlier for members and regular customers. I checked in on Sunday at around 9.30am. Been awake from 3am to get to Sydney that early. But didnt get the room until 2pm. So we got really tired and frustrated. I understand it was busy but if its busy, you get more people to get the rooms ready. Forecast, prioritize. There was construction/renovation of property. We were not told about it either while booking or checking in. It was bit of a let down this time. I am giving 6 for Gabrielle's help. No other info about breakfast etc was offered. 2 bottles of water would have been great. Overall a warm cosy stay apart from checkin experience.
