« Hotel is well located. Wi-Fi coverage needs serious improvement. »

The check-in and check-out were easy and fast. The staff always willing to help. The room was cozy. However, the Wi-Fi coverage was horrible. I stayed at room# 134, and the wi-fi would work only from the living room (with some difficulty), but didn't work from the Bedroom. I checked and there was only one Access Point in front of the elevator being shared with all the rooms in that floor, and that is the issue, since the apartment# 134 is far from the Access Points with lots of walls in between.

I liked the location of the hotel that facilitated a lot going to places on foot such as restaurants. I did not stay long enough to get a better notion of the quality of the services of the hotel but I appreciated the good attention that I received at the reception.

I was asked for my email address at the time of check-in. I did not want to give it because I don't like receiving marketing email. But I was told it was necessary. good hotel/brand but the room was painted and the cleanness was not good. The restaurant was serving Peruvian menu but the dishes were not peruvian besides that it took too much time to be served. the experience was not good

« Broken Lock, Tired Hotel, Paper thin walls, Ibis was better quality »

The Hotel seemed quite tired and could really do with redecoration and better decoration. In comparison to an Ibis that I stayed at during the same trip which is supposed to be a cheaper class of hotel, the Ibis was nicer other than the Ibis didn't have room service. The door lock on my room also had a flat battery, which on its own is not a big issue but when it takes them 4 days to sort get this sorted. The walls are also paper thin, so you can hear people talking in the adjacent rooms. The final kick was that this was more expensive than a Grand Mecure I also stayed in during the same trip which was 10 times as nice

My experience was not good one after knowing that in the rooms there is no iron available but actual only a few for the entire hotel and that taking turns to use when requested. This will be a major factor when I re-book in Brazil.

« Pleasant stay in a convenient location for my work trip »

The room was nice and comfortable. The staff on the reception desk were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and had lots of choice. Room service was quick and on time. The wake up calls were on time and reliable. The hotel was close to some nice eateries. The room lacked only a few things, such as an iron and ironing board. Perhaps these could be store in the bathroom as there was a cavity behind the door, or in the bedroom cupboards. The hotel had some electrical issues when I was trying to charge my iphone (including the hotel's phone system going down for a few hours, lights flickering on/off, lift jolting to a stop), and it resulted in my iphone dying which I was most unhappy about. I assume there was an electrical surge of some sort. The food I ate (other than breakfast) wasn't that great.

It was a good experience, I loved the room layout and the breakfast. I had some problems with the internet wifi which has affected my work. The internet was extremely slow and going down a lot of times.

I stay at the Mercure hotel from Sunday 18th till today; and I´m very unsatisfied about the service of the restaurant and the hotel. I have dinner 3 times in the restaurant of the hotel, and I found a very bad services. On Sunday 19th I have to look for the waiter since no body was on the restaurant, on Monday 20th the waiters were talking about soccer in the bar and does not pay attention to the clients, I have to wait 40 minutes for a plate of spaghetti and when I finish I call them (waiters) several times but as they were in their interesting chat, nobody comes to the table to give me the bill, so I left the restaurant with no sign the bill. On Tuesday 21th same situation, waiters were talking in the bar very bad service and the waiter ask me to sign two bills, Monday and Tuesday. Today the receptionist give me the final bill when I check-out, it comes with 2 dinners with effective date 20th of March and 3 Room Services which I never order since I went to the restaurant. I´m very disappointment about this hotel, since you change the concepts and effective dates of the service without my authorization, and when I ask to the receptionist to fix it, she told me that was not possible because if she do it all the services will be set with effective date as today. I kindly as you an explanation about this situation in order to escalate the issue in my office and does not have any problems with my expenses. I sent an email to the manager but I did not get a reply.

Today our assistant administrative got to do the posting the bill charge. You will receive by email. I would like to inform that our general manager had talked with owner’s restaurant about the bad services of the waiters. We do not allowed these attitudes in our hotel. Hotel was nice, drinks and food were nice. Only thing that could have improved my stay was a clothing iron. I had to keep checking with the front desk each morning to try and borrow an iron. Maybe buy more irons or make them available in guest rooms.
