Overall a reasonable experience, lovely staff at all levels. Decent room, no problems with noise. Great bed. Room was clean but parts of the hotel are a bit grotty. As a rule I don't eat at the Mercure as I find the food very average and overpriced. My main complaint is the lack of cable AS ADVERTISED. I'm a big fan of Sky News and was extremely annoyed that it wasn't available.

Room has been nicely refurbished since our last visit. Car parking is reasonably priced at $10 to $15. Barramundi and fillet steak we're perfectly cooked. There's one good wine on the list, a Thorn Clark Sandpiper shiraz. Reception and wait staff were obliging. Overall, it's better than expected.

Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Hotel is conveniently located, and the buses to and from Olympic park for special events are a massive bonus.

online requested early room access on 17 May . On 28 September was greeted rudely at front desk at 11am requesting access to our room. was told too busy to access room early but would ring when room available, yet on returning at 2pm not receiving a call, was told over 60 booked in early? Room ready at 2. booking for 3 yet only 2 towels, cups available. very disappointing service at breakfast. most food barely warm or cold.

Packed swim gear yet no pool available and no communication about the closed pool before or on arrival. Only discovered this once we were checked in. Buffet breakfast fell short too, no Barista coffee, less range of foods than other Accor experiences. Comfy beds though and pleasant reception staff.

Mainly booked the hotel for its pool for my kids. Whole stay is ruined because pool is out of order. Asked to transfer to another Mercure but informed that we can’t. Wasted my money for 2 nights stay there. My girls cried because couldn’t use the pool. Drive all the way from Melbourne for a ruined holiday!

Counter staff were nice and helpful but the room had an empty bottle of win in it - I went to counter and staff were helpful but then after my stay I was charged $28 for mini bar - I advised I didn't have anything from the minibar and it was remedied when I called as the payment was deducted from my visa after the stay. I have checked and the money has been returned but is just an added hassle - had I not seen the bottle beforehand and not come to the counter I might not have been as lucky. also the sheets on the bed had a brown stain on one side of the sheet (maybe a rust stain), but I did not sleep on that side or return to the counter.

Only because you have sent this request for comment twice.. The hotel is nice but I was annoyed with the stay... I checked in before my colleague (he is Gold and I'm Platinum accor members) I got a room upgrade.. (next to a elevator which I could hear) but my friend was in a much better room on a quite corner of the building... I still don't understand why or how he got a better room when he checked in after me... I'm happy my training was cut short and I got to leave early! I'm now checked into another accor hotel for the next training in the area. In saying all that, it was a nice hotel but the above experience ruined it for me.

Rooms were near and tidy. TV reception and choice of viewing was poor. The room was booked for 4 people and there were only 2 towels and 2 coffee cups. We had to keep asking for extra. There was no instruction to connect to wifi
