« Comfortable room but out of the way for my needs »

The room was pleasant - bath too shallow for my needs, shower good however. Bed was only double (I normally have queen/king) but it was comfortable enough. TV was dissapointing - bad reception, remote flaky. Hallways dated (traffic cones in mine??). Staff friendly and welcoming.

Our stay had a few hiccups but none of these were a problem for the staff at Mercure, they were quick to handle all the incidents effectively and making sure to compensate where we were required to wait long periods.

« The people there are simply marvellous, always smiling and friendly »

What I adore in this hotel most is the friendliness of the staff and the smile that is always present. Especially so in the cafe that I had my breakfast and snacks. Keep it up! But what I have doubts on is the payment portion or could be the system that manages it. I booked my rooms with the option of payment at hotel. But was charged to my credit card upon booking. It was make known to me until it was reflected in my bill. Called up the hotel and it was resolved immediately. That's fine but of course the hassle of calling up my bank and calling directly to the hotel for verification. Time consuming and oversea calls charges are involved. Upon checking out I was shafted with my bills and only realize the discrepancy when i got back home. Wrote an email (11 Jun'18) and till now no respond to my quires. Lesson learnt for me is I should have opened up my bill upon checking out and do a check before I leave the premises even though I was not shown the bill at the reception.

The staff were very friendly and helpful but there was an issue in the restaurant and we had to wait over an hour for our dinner, we were told we only had to pay 1/2 price but when I checked out there was an issue at the desk but I sorted this. When we went for breakfast we had to wait for cutlery to be washed/dried and our breakfast got cold waiting.

Turned up at 1415 hours very happy and bubble person at the front counter. Terrific with information required. small down fall of a water leak in the area but no issues for me. Great room to many choices of pillows lol. Restaurant was great. Great food and choice. and happy staff. check out was painless.

The staff made the stay. Nothing was too difficult. They were so friendly, welcoming, helpful, and lovely to my daughter spoiling her with little toys that she absolutely loves. Have stayed at many many Accor properties and this one is worth all the praise

It was good stay but with following problems, a. Poor internet / wifi connectivity b. AC heating function was not working c. No change in breakfast menu, everyday same menu.. and no live counter for omelet and other cuisine. d. Room service menu is with few options only Good thing, 1. Hip hop music in hotel, it good to start your day with good hip hop music 2. Candy / chocolates placed on bed everyday.. I liked it 3. Good in room bar and coffee maker
