« Comfortable but not flash, friendly efficient staff, good location »

Room was basic but comfortable, bathroom could benefit from refurbishment. Hotel has bar and restaurant adjacent to pool area, good selection of food and beverages. Excellent staff, friendly, helpful and efficient. Plenty of parking at reasonable rate.

« All great except the room service »

Room was terrific, with the most comfortable temperature and bedding. Nice "extra" touches like a coffee machine, complementary water, and other goodies. Buffet breakfast fantastic and staff enthusiastic and polite (although really short-staffed!) Convenient, secure, bargain-priced parking. Room service (dinner) arrived on time but was horrendous. I ordered soup which arrived lukewarm, with no spoon, and was barely edible. Bread was also lukewarm. Erk.

« Good place to stay, with minor issues. »

Overall a good place to stay, good well equipped rooms and friendly staff. Minor quibbles would be the breakfast food, most of which was almost cold and the coffee machine produced horrible coffee. I will stay there again however when I need to go to that part of town.

Everything was ok, apart from having to crawl under the desk to be able to plug in my laptop - the TV was blocking the only visible power point at the desk and the others could only be reached by crawling under the desk - not what I expect from a hotel of this calibre.

« My booking seems to have been made on the wrong day »

I did not stay. I booked using AccorPlus free night for 18th August. But the system booked me for the 31st July instead. I found out only when I received your survey. Otherwise I would have turned up next week and found I did not have a booking. I have tried to call the hotel for help tonight. No one could help me. I then called Accor Plus. They could not help me. I then called membership services. They are not available until Monday morning. I’ve spent an hour trying to solve the problem already. All I can do now is book another hotel for the night intended to stay. I won’t use Accor Hotels ever again.

Staff was very friendly, room clean. Food very ordinary we had room service for lunch and went down to breakfast. Breakfast wasnt good at all. Dirty plates, over cooked eggs, warm juices and sour fruit. I had a couple of mouthfulls and couldnt wait to leave and eat elsewhere.

« Ok but could be better »

Our experience was ok but there is room for improvement. I wasn’t told of the additional holding fee ($50) at check-in and noticed it on my credit card. When I queried it upon check-out, I just got told ‘it’s a holding fee, it will come back in your card in a few days’. We only received directions to the carpark when we prompted the Assistant Manager serving us even though she had just processed the parking and it was the same at check out - no directions on how to exit the carpark, noting it had boom gates. The resturant was very slow. Whilst I understand they weren’t expecting it to be a busy night, the service was average. We had to go up to the bar to purchase our drinks and wait for a waiter. After the waiter took our meal orders, the only time they came back was give us our meals after that almost wrestled them off the Chef. We decided to take our wine and go and drink it at the bar as we hadn’t seen a waiter for a while to get the bill. It took a good 5 minutes or more for the waiter to find our table order and print it out for signature. The room was clean and tidy however the tv wasn’t great and wasn’t focused/out of aspect which we couldn’t amended. The beds were uncomfortable and we both woke up with sore backs.

First appearances count for me and the lobby was not clean. Lots of cigarette butts outside and the entry to the lifts were filthy around the door frames. The room was better but still a concern after the entrance. Food offerings around the property are very limited.

I didn’t like the new form required to be filled out every time I stay, considering that it the answers were not Abel to be added to my profile I think this is a inconvenience. The food is very average, it doesn’t matter what you order( iv tried most of it) and there is always a lack of staff at the restaurant. I find the linen to smell a bit off mainly the towels. I was staying ones a week but I’m not shore, the price fluctuates largely.
