Globally this is correct. Room is OK. Dinner menu is less interesting than some years ago. Less choices. As well, during the dinner, I asked to get some bread and butter which has been invoiced 2.5€ This is the 1st time I'm charged for bread and butter in a restaurant!

Not pleasent due to noise levels and tobacco smells from adjoining rooms

As notified by my wife to your reception desk in the early hours of Sunday morning, the guest in the neighbouring room woke us abruptly at 2.30am by repeatedly banging on doors to gain entry. My wife opened the door and explained we had children. They laughed at her like as it this was some kind of joke. They seemed to continue «  their party » in one of the meighbouring rooms as for the remainder of the night/ morning my wife could not sleep due to laughing and talking which could be heard from our room. She also got a strong smell of tabacco smoke, which I also got the following morning. The whole experience distrupted our Easter Sunday plans as we intended to wake early but because the family had disrupted sleep we were all rather exhausted. The experience was a little bit scary for the children as to be woken with such noise is not a pleasent experience at any age. When I checked out the lady at reception just indicated that a note was on the system to inform the noisy guests of their behaviour. My wife was a bit disappointed that we were not compensated, even in the means of offering us a complimentary beverage as a small gesture. We understand people celebrate ocassions but this was a bit too disrespectful this time and unfortunately left us with a bad experience.

From reception to cleaning staff 1st class. The greeting was professional and friendly at reception, room was big enough, would have preferred a shower room but that is my preference, bed comfortable but would have preferred something a little wider. I have to say I have stayed at many of your hotels but this is the best hotel for breakfast top notch 1st class loads of options from healthy eating to eggs and bacon!

My stay was fine, the loyalty points system is still a mess

My stay in Zwolle on 14 March was comfortable, the food was good and the room was fine. Unfortunately I have to once again conclude that your loyalty points is a mess. According to your app my points will be awarded 'up to 7 days after your stay'. 2 weeks later it still hasn't happened. My last visit to Mercure in February was also marred by a discussion about loyalty points and the time before they were only awarded after I sent you a written complaint. I deliberately checked during check-in that my loyalty card was registered, the receptionist confirmed this. What is going wrong? We, as a company, use Mercure regularly but it would seem that points cannot be awarded individually if we make a booking collectively........very frustrating!

I slept very well and the breakfast was complete and very well, Unfortunately one of the charging stations was out of order so I couldn't charge my car.

Stayed every year since 1992 with no problems but over the last few years the choice of food in the restaurant has been getting less and less. There are now only four choices of main dish and one of those is fish and one vegetarian. Room prices are now too high when comparing with other hotels in better locations that don't need taxis to get around. Have now decided to change hotels for the future as ACCOR HOTELS have repeatedly failed to give the discounted rates that are offered in emails that are sent to me

Had requested quiet room well in advance but got one right by the stairs and lift. Could hear people thumping up and down. Asked if could move but receptionist not very interested. When asked how I could get request honoured next time said it was pot luck. Otherwise usual high standard. My 5th visit with work.

Good stay, room very nice Very disappointed about your loyalty program; I am a member and was informed that I could not collect my points because I was part of a group booking. We stayed with 7 people; a big booking (and we use your hotel a lot) but no loyalty points even though we were a group? This doesn't motivate me to recommend my secretary to book large groups with you next time. Or do I need to book myself on a separate booking next time? Please review this, it is not satisfactory, a paying customer should be rewarded for loyalty whether part of a group or not

The sign at the doors says 4 stars but that can't be true. The rooms and meeting rooms are really outdated. No decent light on the rooms for example. This is getting a really old hotel now. Feels like going back in time. The staff did their upmost best to support us which is great and worth a lot. They were really helpfull.
