« Easy access to the Bordeaux airport. Good value for a one night stay at the airport. »

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Parking easy. Close to the airport and shuttle service took 5 minutes. Driver was excellent. Very good breakfast came with the room - available from 5 in the morning which is very good for those with early morning flights. Air conditioning in room was not very powerful. Restaurant was closed on a friday night. Limited availability of restaurants in the area.

Reception efficient, lobby attractive, food & beverages OK, room small as anticipated but reflects IBIS, not IBIS Styles ambiance and facilities. Overall good value but really a bit of a misrepresentation compared with other IBIS Styles hotel we’ve visited.

The hotel is a few minutes from Bordeaux airport. You could walk with a carry on bag. The room has a very comfy bed, air con and a hot shower. The hotel is well maintained. The staff are lovely and friendly.

There was nothing whatsoever that was negative: from the helpful and gracious reception, to the room (a marvel of making good use of small spaces), the breakfast, the common spaces, the shuttle. At this price point, and for an airport hotel, it was nothing short of superb.

Experience was fine, staff OK. Advertising Bistro a waste of time, with so many other hotels in area offering Restuarant facilities you need to smarten up this area. Sign on the bed saying it was a new bed, it mayhave been new some time ago but wasn't new when I slept on it. Turn down the temperature in the rooms, it was set at 23c, far too hot. Also save yourself some money. Staff were fine but they need to interact more with customers, breakfast was fine. Not a lot wrong but nothing outstanding.

« A very pleasant and comfortable stay »

We received a warm and informative welcome from member of desk staff. Our room was quiet, pleasant, with very comfortable bed, and very adequate bathroom. Restaurant was closed in evening but had an enjoyable meal at "Au Bureau" Restaurant a very short walk away. Had a very satisfying breakfast at hotel with very helpful staff. The shuttle bus service to Airport was excellent. Altogether a very pleasant experience. We would certainly be pleased to return again.

« Very good except for the meal at the restaurant which was below prison standard »

Always happy to use the Ibis Styles. Except for the supper which consisted of raw bred (not cooked at all), the meat was way below par, the french fried were cooked in truck transmission oil dating from the 2nd WW and to top it all, the green salad was inhabited by critters that had nothing to do in my plate. An extremely disgusting experience. The staff was apologetic but ...

« The staff at Ibis Styles are wonderful. »

It is the people at any hotel who determine a persons satisfaction. And, the staff at this Ibis were wonderful. Prior to making reservations, Maeva, Joanna and Samantha promptly answered all my questions. Upon arrival, the Shuttle picked us up promptly. Laurence helped us load and unload all of our luggage. This included two bicycles! We checked in easily. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. And we very much appreciate your willingness to store our luggage while we tour southern France by bicycle. I will recommended this hotel to everyone that travels to Bordeaux.

Con's: I would recommend Ibis Style Bordeaux Airport at anytime for the service, room, breakfast & proximity of the airport - even for the cosy & popular "Au Bureau" bistrot/pub near by ( a walking distance). Pro's: I only would like to add that the Internet/wifi ( even free - no password) can't be obtained in your room if you have a "strong" firewall (which is my case) and this, is really inconvenient. This are the 5th times that I reserve Ibis, and I will definitively change my reservations to another brand.
