« Wonderful stay as always. »

This is the 4th time we have stayed at St Moritz hotel, we called it our 'Queenstown Home'. When we entered the room, there is a plate of sweet treat and a welcome back note from Marina Silva the Operations Manager and immediately, we feel like being treated as value customers. Also my boy Liam really enjoyed the $29.00 popcorns, movies, food and sweet dreams package, it really puts a smile on his face. Special thanks all the cleaners for our room each day, they really did a top job. We had a lovely weekend there, really can not wait for our return.

« Staying at ST Moritz was an important and enjoyable part of my holiday experience in Queenstown »

Quality feel, professional service, the right vibe. Returning visit this time for holiday rather than business. Room was great except the beds are uncomfortable - 2 beds pushed together do not make a king bed and have 'body wallows' where every one sleeps. 2 people in bed can't get close due to lump in middle.

« Totally happy with the room upgrade and hospitality »

Totally happy with the hospitality, start prior to arrive , got email confirmation to upgrade our rooms . Everything is good . Compare to other loyalty brand , Accor is way better than other brand in NZ , wild range from mid-upscale- luxury. But St Moritz is unique . And will come back for sure , may be only concern is the rooms looks a bit dated .but consider it's a hotel closed to the lake and the weather condition in Queenstown it is normal.

We spend 4 nights at the St Moritz. The rooms were miraculously prepared every day. The location is within 5 min walk to town center, but the feeling is like you are in a resort far away from the noise. Staff members were friendly and helpful, particularly when they helped with document printing in the middle of the night; rearranging loads of luggage for our group; helping us with take away breakfast when we were in a rush to appointments. highly recommended

« Honeymoon Heaven »

My husband and I have been waiting eagerly for this trip. We both had health issues that had to delay us from having our honeymoon. But FINALLY we did! The moment we pulled up the doorman at the front checked our bags and directed us to the front desk. I believe Alice was lovely to us and checked us in with such effeciency and a smile. After we made our way into the room. She kindly checked on us again and provided us with water and chocolates. We did room service which was perfect after a long drive. And everyone there was so helpful and kind. I cant thank the hotel enough for being patient with for asking so many questions of what/where to go in the city. It gave us ease to relax and know we were in great care.

i stayed in the King bed room with balcony. it`s on 3rd floor, the view is partly blocked by the Motel in the front. The bathroom is small, without tub. The breakfast is really mediocre. And parking is chargeable.

Our lake view rooms undoubtedly offer views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounds however, I've noted your preference of a room on a higher floor for future stays. Our alpine suites also offer both a shower and a bath, with a spacious lounge area and serrate bedroom. I'm so sorry your were disappointed with your breakfast experience, if you could provide me with any further details so we can investigate further, it would be much appreciated. Ian, I assure you our rates for parking our competitive with other 5* properties in town, and includes valet service and bottled water daily. Alternatively, there is free parking on Brunswick Street, near where the hotel is located. I do hope we have the chance to welcome you back, and ensure you next stay is truly memorable for you. We as a family we accommodated at your hotel at the last minute when we were bumped off our flight at the airport. We called your hotel as a fellow bumped passenger stayed there and recommended it - Timur answered and immediately helped even offering us a bigger suite with a rollaway bed to fit our family given it would cost less than two rooms. It was 11pm at night - impressive service. When we arrived, the hotel and room were impressive, warm clean and comfortable with decor to enhance a Queenstown experience - and staff service throughout even more so. So refreshing after the poor service we received immediately prior at the airport from the airline! We ended up staying two nights and would not hesitate to recommend St Moritz to others. Please extend our gratitude to your front desk staff.

Love staying here. Cosy warm and comfortable bed. Fabulous shower pressure. Excellent customer service from every staff member. Particularly enjoyed the lovely large gas fire in the lobby. Beautiful spot to share a drink & catch up with friends. Highly recommend!

« overall wonderful but fell short on the food experience »

great in most ways except when it came to food. 1) breakfast: unremarkable experience, on both days; complicated system to order hot food, unimpressive buffet food choices (both hot & cold) /layout & inadequate selection of healthy food items, tiny omelettes the size of a coin thrown in a small plate void of even a wee garnish, young & energetic staff that barely knew how to keep the place going with often clearing plates & tables before customers had finished, never looked to help customers with ordering coffee or requests to replace food items, keen on resetting tables but never clearing extra utensils upon welcoming 2) room service: way too long (over an hour, even if there was a later than usual warning at the time of order) and soup portion way too small, a requested glass of water never made it to the tray and the soup of the day was the soup of yesterday on the second day as it was the same 'daily' choice. 3) room amenities: instant coffee as a complimentary offering at a 5* hotel? very unusual these days... other than the food, i'd say everything was pretty good ~ perhaps a little more time spent at check-in explaining wifi is included & how to connect to it & also where to locate extra duvets or blankets (after asking on a cold night i was directed to look inside the wooden chest in the room).
