Staff were accommodating in our wanting to change rooms due to renovation noise, which was appreciated. Still needed earplugs to sleep. Rooms very tired and bathroom more so. Only one face washer 3 days, no washer 1 day. Used pillow menu but their condition was appalling, over-used/worn. TV good quality but not being able to either log in to my own Netflix account or screen mirror from my iPad was annoying. Wi-fi was also patchy on Level 11. Appreciated additional tea and sugar when requested but 4 teaspoons of sugar for two people is an unacceptable norm. Room service burger was yummy. We also enjoyed drinks at Eve’s. Really appreciated pool (very refreshing and great temperature) and sauna but missed lockers in bathrooms to allow enjoyment of sauna

Check in was great, easy access to car park, clean and tidy room. The only thing I'd change is the bath shower. They are extremely dangerous. I'm only young and have had one nasty experience (resulting in a visit to the hospital to be stitched up) after falling in a hotel bath shower before I do not wish to have another experience like this again nor do I wish anyone else to have a similar experience. Bath showers are so out dated and no modern hotels should have them. If people wish to have a bath in their room then their should be seperate baths and showers in rooms to accommodate for those few people who wish to have them. They are not overly environmentally friendly either as they use so much water and in a country where water is becoming scarce wasting water for a bath in an out dated hotel bathroom seems impractical.

I sat on the chair in the room not noticing that is was on castors. The chair went flying back and I landed on my hip, damaging it. Has caused me to have a scan on my hip. A very silly chair to have in a hotel room!

I raised the point at reception when I was leaving. I paid A$150 to upgrade to a premium room. I wanted a King size bed. I was disappointed to be woken at 7am on the Thursday and Friday morning at 7am with a constant knocking. It sounded like a tap on the door of our room and I went to the door to see who it was.... no one there. We were told about room renovations, but that these would have the most impact when we were out of the room during the day. I am not sure which room we would have been allocated if I hadn't requested an upgrade to the 13th floor, but it just seemed like we were inconvenienced because of the upgrade. Hopefully this feedback will be helpful in monitoring the noise of the renovations. .

There was nothing wrong with my stay at all. However, I just felt the rooms were very "generic" more in line with a fancy travelogue. However, my room was perfectly clean, the staff I spoke with were wonderful and helpful. I just felt that the decor was a little dated for a city centre high end hotel. I did not expect that Wifi would not have been included in the price, and did not think this should be charged for. I would also mentioned that it is an inconvenience that my room was a room with two double beds, but only one had a plug socked near it, on the far side.

We stayed in room number 1035. The room was very small and there is no place to keep/ unpack our luggage at all and literally the luggage was kept on the floor and experienced difficulties while taking out our contents. The bath room certainly updation. We travelled all the way from India on a conducted tour by Chariots world tours & travels and as our stay in Australia exceeds 14 days on holday we are carrying suffient luggage to meet minimum requirement for that stay. The staff are excellent and helpful but they expressed their helplessness to provide sufficiently big enough room as they have none. Anyway, we have moved over to Cairns since we checked out and sincerely hope things will improve as expected 4th star hotel. Thank you and our hope our comments will be taken with proper perspective as we wish to stay with you during our next visit to Sydney.
