« Great central location »

Very handy to get around the city. Right by central station and easy access to buses and shops. Eves bar was a great place for food and cocktails. Breakfast good but evening menu not to our taste.

Location is literally Central. So close to central Station enables you to move around the whole of Sydney by public transport with ease. Buses and Trains, within walking distance. Darling Harbour, China Town, Circular Quay all just minutes walk away.

We have used this hotel on a number of occasions and always found the service excellent. Staff always polite and very helpful. We were given a complimentary drink voucher for us both but we were not told that it was only for house wine or house beer or coffee/tea. Please make the "conditions" printed on the voucher larger and clearer to avoid confusion.

« Wonderful,hotel, ideal location, good food, »

Room is fair;y basic but clean and comfortable which to be fair is all that is required. The hotel staff were excellent on all counts. Ideal location being next to Railway Central. Only drawback was the in house bar was closed for 3 of our 4 nights stay as was over the Easter weekend prior to flying to commonwealth games. This as far as I know was not advertised or advised.

We have stayed at the Mercure quite a few times now & it is one of our favourite hotels in Sydney. Checking in was a delight & Simona was so welcoming & friendly. We had a lovely room on the 14th floor with a king bed. Breakfast here is excellent as is dining in the restaurant at night. This was the first time we have seen the new feature wall in reception & it is amazing.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights in total. Majority of staff greeted you every time you were in close proximity to them. Breakfast service was always great! Dinners usually good and the kids eat free was fantastic. New staff were in training at the time and one dinner there were a few issues. When I notified staff they compensated me for the inconvenience

Really nice staff, beautiful hotel, loved the rooftop pool. Lucky to be staying there. However, showers were either scalding hot or cold, flow meter needs to be fixed.
