Tonight i will be checking into your hotel for the 4th or 5th week in a row. I have been staying monday through thursday. I am blown away by the quality of the staff employed at this Novotel. It does not matter where they engage, front desk, room service wait staff or just a general phone request. They are so polite, always extremmly tidily presented and attentive to my requirements. The rooms are alway neatly presented, clean, and serviced as i would expect. Certainly no negative experiences. The other facilities such as the Gym, Pool and Sauna are brilliant. Not very well used so i have had the luxury of these places to myself most nights. I have given you a rating of 7. I would love to make it an 8 or even a 9. But that is not possible with the quality of the dining experience. Whether restaurant or in room the quality is not up to a standard i would expect - especially the prices that are being charged. Please dont get me wrong here, the food tastes great, i have not had a bad experience in that regard. It is your consistency. The chicken ceaser salad as an example. I have had three of these and not one looks like the other. From a slab of grilled chicken to finaly sliced to cubed pieces of chicken. I have anchovies and luckily i only had those on one. Then there is the steak which has been cooked beautifuly everytime - But - The half a lemon, what is the pupose, and your description of comes with crispy potatoe. The description leads you to believe that crispy roast potatoes are included. Then you get one potatoe that is not crispy (more boiled). Then you change to your winter menu. And the crispy potatoe is now described as Chats. But when it comes out i am still getting a boiled potatoe. I took photo's of my room service meal the first time and my colleagues were just as incredulous as myself. No one suggested i get salads. It was room service so i was not going to let my meal go cold whilst i waited for a side to arrive. I just ate it. I have had the eye fillet again since though, 3 more times. Great steak everytime but it becomes a $60 dollar meal once sides are added. If the furnishings, table tops, table coverings (Paper news print that goes soggy from the condensation of my beer) i could see why you could charge that amount. The steak should be served on a plate. You have to be very careful with the sauce as it runs straight off the chopping board onto the table if you are too liberal, it just flow straight around the lemon and boiled potatoe under the lemon and over the side. I sound negative but trully i am not, remember i am saying great service, great facilities and really nice tasting food. Its just served in a poor manner of presentation and is very over priced.

Staff were nice, room was ok, but needed some TLC, cracks in the bathtub, toilet running through after flushing, fridge light too bright for night time sleep. Got charged for two bottles of water when I only got one from fridge. Milk was past its best by date in fridge.

I enjoyed the stay at Novotel, Glen waverly. But, So far the hotels I have stayed other than Novotel, there was a complimentary Breakfast. But, it was not there in Novotel.

I arrived very tired after a very stressful week at work and a bumpy flight due to turbulence - and a long taxi ride, and was greeted by very friendly gentle staff who checked me in and told me I had an upgrade! Such a lovely surprise, but even without the upgrade, the staff were excellent at checkin. My room was quiet and warm and the shower was wonderful in the morning. Big bath towels - luxury. Last time I stayed there was quite along wait for my eggs at breakfast and I was interested to note that when I was seated I was asked not only if I wanted coffee, but also if I wanted eggs done in a particular way - this is a such a simple thing to do to improve your breakfast service. All staff very helpful from room service lady late on Wednesday evening when I just felt like a fruit salad - not even on your menu but she made one up anyway, through to breakfast staff and check out staff who arranged a taxi. Super impressed - I stay at accor hotels quite often but this stay was wonderful. I already have another booking with you for when I come to Melbourne again later in the year. Thanks for a great stay.

A wonderful experience, I felt the Buffet P. was extreme, having designed a casino Buffet and P. myself, the Express Breakfast is far too inflated to only be allowed "one bowl of cereal and piece of fruit" quoted from managing bar staff. The room was lovely however. Thank you.
