Cleanliness of the room wasn't at the typical ibis standard. I don't typically stay in this area when I'm in London so probably won't be back. The staff is nice. Check in was completed within 5 minutes The perks it's close to the bus stop and a big Tesco. You could definitely walk to the tube station for sure

Having stayed at the same hotel for the past 140 nights I feel I can conclude IBIS Hotel Barking is great, some things could be better but generally for the cost, hotel rating it's great, just a shame the staff change like the weather, but management ensure things run smoothly, breakfast could be better priced for the "light" breakfast, car parking on double yellow lines on the narrow road leading to the entrance gate is diabolical and dangerous, otherwise, I congratulate IBIS Hotel Barking for their service.

My only small issue was that my Gold member preferences were not upheld (my profile says I prefer a room on the highest floor as far from the lift as possible) and the room I was given was on the 1st floor close to the lifts. Other than that the Hotel was clean and the staff very helpful, being right on the North Circular wasn't ideal but I knew that when I booked. My preferred Ibis hotel was full on the night I needed to stay and should that happen again I would definitely return here as an alternative.

The room smelt of smoke. When i told the lady at reception she immediately offered a new room. The problem was...... that room also smelt of smoke. I asked for a refund and went elsewhere!
