« Horrible »

Rude staff - making fun of English people on the phones in front of me. They hang up every time you call & then deny it even though I have seen them do it to others. Lifts never work. Room cards never work so end up getting stuck in a corridor. Staff couldn’t care less Was given the wrong room & spent all week getting fobbed off falling Inbetween 2 beds and getting no sleep. Staff walked in the room while I was getting dressed No WiFi through out stay Couldn’t wait to leave to be honest Little facilities in the room Not clean, not even a bin & 1 plug socket in the whole room

Perfect need for a short stay as a single, The breakfast was good, the staff are very helpful (except for one, who was very rude). The location is good and close to your needs.

Stay was comfortable. Rooms were very clean. House keeping staff did a very good job with every day cleaning. Reception staff was also very helpful. Location of hotel is good, very close to bus stand & other public transport. Carrefour is just next to hotel for everyday needs. Neighbor hood was safe & friendly. But i’m not able to understand how come the wifi never worked for my entire stay of 7 days. If hotel doesn’t want to provide free wifi, they should tell us in advance. I have been to 50+ countries but frankly speaking I never came across any hotel which had out of service wifi, that too in this era of technology. I will not be staying at ibis hotels again, sorry.

Ibis surprise to stay in old rooms though they does not exist anymore not happy at all frm these hotel. Nobody on the desk informed me about that. Will not stay anymore there and also not recommend it

« Great value for money »

It was an overall good experience . Being in the travel industry i usually stay in 4/ 5 star hotels which is paid for by my company of course. Yet i loved this short stay with ibis as i had everything i needed. The only thing is i am used to the concierge service and when i arrived at the hotel at about 9.00 a.m after a 12 hour flight the only place to keep the luggage was a paid space as the rooms were available only as from noon. This is an added cost for only a few hours use . Not really a good feeling Otherwise loved my stay.

The aircon was smelling like burn even the reception guy noticed and complained and noisy and when we spent the first night we noticed that the linen was dirty with stains they looked like they have not been changed from the previous guest .

« Caters to the basic needs very well »

It’s a bit far from the Gare de Lyons (the 24 bus stops almost at the front door) but everything is lovely, it’s quiet, the service is friendly and it caters for all the basic needs at an extremely reasonable price. Only negative was the shower was not fixed properly.

Room too hot, noisy and very small. you cannot use the stairs to get to your room - elevator only. The rooms start from the 6th floor onwards so do not expect a ground floor room. The room was very tired and water hot/cold.

When deciding on a short stay at Easter in Paris, we chose the Ibis Porte de Bercy mainly because of its on-site garage, and did not expect a grandiose experience. However, too many elements/details in our stay were below ANY expectation, consequently the 4/10 note.

My otherwise great stay was ruined by the fact that on my third night I had another guest enter my room at 1:40am in the morning. The other guest was as shocked as I was and when I called reception to find out how the other guest managed to get a keycard to enter my room I was told “the guest had committed an error”. Really? It was quite apparent that my room had not been blocked for the third night of my stay and that reception had re-let my room to another guest. An awful way to wake up in a hotel especially when travelling on your own. All I received on check-out was a simple apology which did make up for my sleep I lost after this awful shock.

1. Bed is good 2. Bathroom is ok 3. Towels seems need to be replaced. One day new towel had hairs on it 4. Internet does not work. When I asked reception why answer was because it is free. I found it very rood answer. 5. Breakfast very poor 6. Place for clothes is very narrow. I was able to fit only my jacket and suit did not fit. Not for the business traveller.

Have stayed in much nicer Hotels, would not stay here again. Room is adequate, but atmosphere of hotel is outdated and depressing. Bed is comfortable and everything was clean. Nothing in the area, had to get Ubers to dinner. The doors to the staircase cannot be opened from within the staircase so no choice but to take lifts which rarely worked

« I quite enjoyed my stay at Ibis Porte de Bercy »

I appreciate the warm welcome and the courtesy of the staff. Rooms are nice and protected from noise. Rooms are also well furnished for a hotel of that standing. Unfortunately, I didn’t use the restaurant and the bar. Consequently, I cannot evaluate the breakfast and the service at the restaurant and the bar. The hotel is quite far from the metro but very close from bus station. The hotel is also close to a shopping mall.
