The room looks old and requires further improvement & refurbishment. It doesn't represent the standard of Accor worldwide. Not a very good value for a room comparing the prices. On the side note, the location is convenient as its nearby train station.

« not as I expected to stay at an ibis hotel »

no welcome drink, no complimentary water bottle, pillows and bed are not as comfortable as in other ibis’, room needs maintenance as window’s glass cracks, some gluey stains in wooden floor, air conditioning is not that good..

Your renovations have made a huge difference. I was very happy with my room, it was warm and comfortable. Your staff are friendly, your breakfasts good and I could find an English language news program to watch on TV. I always stay at your hotel, not only because I like it but also because you are between the train station and the bus station, a perfect location.

« Dirty with poor service, the worst Ibis we've ever been to »

We booked two double rooms. Our friend had a very nice room (we found it out after we saw ours), renovated and we got probably the worst room I ever got at a hotel. Almost everything was broken, there was too much dust everywhere, probably a room waiting for the renovation but they just gave it to us. I am a member of AccorrHotels programme with a higher status and definitely I didn't expect to be accommodated in something like that. We asked the staff to exchange the room and also why our friend got a new one and we this terribly dirty room. The person at the reception told us that we ordered a different configuration of beds and if we agree with a different configuration. They gave us a new room and the configuration of the beds was exactly the same we had in the old one. I really don't understand this behaviour. On top of that, we came to breakfast at 9 am. There was literally nothing, no tableware, no glasses, no cutlery, just people eating some croissatns they were able to find on the empty tables. After 30 minutes nothing changed. Just the staff asked us the room number. People were just desperately looking around the place if there is anything to eat. I've never experienced something like that!

« Nice staff, terrible room »

Staff were very nice however our room was really bad, room 308 I think..the side table was broken, shower barely had and pressure, the heater was constantly stuck on so the room was Always hot, we had a cleaner walk in two times when we were in the room, we even had a tag on the door. The guy in the bar was the nicest guy, we was really the only person that made our stay okay.

Dear sirs, I’m a Le Club Accor Gold member for many years and sorry to say that this was my worst experience in Ibis hotels. I stayed two periods at the Ibis Marrakesh Central Gare and besides its spectacular location and fair cost, the receptionists, breakfast and the state of the room’s closets and mainly the shower box were poor and disgusting. Furthermore, during my first stay from Dec 22 through 24, I’m quite sure that I was stolen while my room number 323 was being cleaned. I left one of my backpacks in the room and inside one of the zipper pockets I had a small quantity of my local currency (brazilian reais) equivalent to US$50,00 for my expenses by the time of my return. I noticed the steal as soon as I was back, and decided not to complain because I didn’t trust on the staff present at the time. The reason for my complaint in not to be reimbursed but to make clear that this Ibis unit in Marrakech requires to be in accordance to Accor standards, and avoid that others loyal members as myself, can become victims of unappropiated personel as I really was. Clean hotel. Next to train and bus station. Courteous and helpful staff. Good bar. Taking chicken was tasty. Room was always hot. A/c not controlled despite raising with reception. Good shower. Plenty of hot water.

« Normal Standard of Ibis Hotel ist not reach »

Eventhough the hotel as been recently rehabilitated, it look quite old. Two major problems disturm my stay: 1- The windows are not properly closing. I have even to change the first room because it was really too noisy. I would have been impossible to sleep. The second was better but not as quite as in usual Ibis hotel 2- The coffee at breakfist was hawful. During the 4 days staying I try all offthem. None was OK. Even in Capuccino was chocolate. Service and property etc. was as usual good.
