Was a brief stay, but it was easy to walk around malioboro and palace, since its only few blocks from the center of jogjakarta. Breakfast was decent, room cleanliness was immaculate, and service was too grade.

Hotel strategic location at Malioboro Street for shopping and local eateries at night. This area is quiet in the day time. Hotel also connected to a shopping mall, what more can we ask for! Room was spacious but rather small bathroom, full score for cleanliness. The pool was small but we did not use it anyway, will be great if they have a gym.

I love the location, nice and big room (632) and all the staff are very helpful. Just a small input for toiletries. Please provide shampoo and liquid body wash separately. Plus a little bit smelly in hall way to the room.

It was actually great but I could not sleep at all due to the construction activity next door which was very unfortunate my windows directly exposed to that. The greatest thing is the location. I really enjoyed the midnight malioboro street sandaling around like walking on my own yard. Plenty of option for food and shopping.

We were two couples travelling together through Java. We selected the Ibis Malioboro Hotel for our stay in Yogya. All of us were happy with our hotel selection. We received a friendly reception even if we checked in a bit early. I think your main asset is your well trained friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was great and suited guests from East and West. However in both rooms we experience problems with the lighting. I am a retired electrical engineer but had problems switching the lights off and finally had to unscrew the lamps to make the room dark. Please check it out! Anyway I would return to Ibis on an other visit to Yogya. Thanks for a great stay at the modernized Ibis.
