« Not bad but not great »

2 adults and a child’s we stayed for 2 nights and yes it’s close to the station but it’s not as good as other Ibis hotels we have stayed at. The car park is a short walk away and for what it is it’s very expensive. The hotel itself is basic and clean but the shower bowl was full within 1 minute so if u wanted a proper shower it’s not possible as you would flood the whole place. It’s very noisy at night even though they have electric shutters. Not for me I’m afraid. The staff were very friendly though and they made our stay a little better. The beds need sorting but overall a 6 out of 10

« Pleasant hotel, good breakfast, perfect location for Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord »

We stayed in the hotel because we arrived into Gare de l'Est by TGV and departed the next day with Eurostar from Gare du Nord, so it was a perfect location. The hotel is stylish in the typical Ibis way, the staff really really pleasant and the breakfast good. Rooms might be small, but they are modern, clean and seem pretty newly furbished. Can never fault any Accor hotel.

Overall it was a spotlessly clean hotel with customer focused staff who went out of their way to make our holiday the only disappointment was the lack of a kettle in the room this made it difficult to prepare milk for my baby son

Room had LOUD running water noise from one of the wall pipes, third bed wasn't as comfy as regular beds. Breakfast was good, bathroom good, overall good experience.

Standard IBIS. Good size room. Nice staff. Good price if booked in advance, walk up price bit steep. Breakfast - continental style, nice and plenty of it. Possibly bit pricey. No tea/coffee making facilities. by Gare de l'est, so handy to get about - but like any major terminus area, can be a bit less pleasant - think Kings Cross. However, never felt unsafe and hotel right by main road so no dodgy side streets to go down. Would stay again for right price, but wouldn't think twice about booking somewhere else either.

« Facility was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. »

Upon arrival, our room's air-conditioning system was not working. It was past working hours and the technician was not available to fix it. The desk staff and manager gave us another room, with functioning AC, and we were delighted with the customer service. Ibis met all of our expectations. It would have been nice to have laundry facilities in the hotel, but the staff directed us to a private laundry facility nearby.

Hotel is convenient to access. Room is very small. Does have TV but without remot for use. Not having Tea, coffee machine or hot water kettle. Other than that experience was satisfied.

« You get what you pay for. »

We chose this hotel for its price and convenience. There was nothing wrong with the room although it felt rather cramped but the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom, on the other hand, was very spacious. Both the bedroom and bathroom were extremely clean. However, I did feel that there was little recognition of my platinum status. . Particularly disappointing was the welcome drink. In other Ibis hotels that I’ve stayed in, e.g. London, Dublin, Brisbane, we have always been offered two large wines even as gold member. Here, I was offered one juice or a sparkling water.

« THE best night manager EVER! »

After a debacle with a Booking.com apartment reservation (which, because of the issue with Booking.com, they required that we book our hotel through them so they could manage the reimbursement of the additional charges we would have from our original apartment reservation - which was not an Accor facility), we literally made our reservations online for this hotel and checked in within minutes. The night manager, who we saw on each night of the two nights we stayed here was hysterically funny! He was cordial, he was kind, he was helpful; he was simply THE BEST!
