Overall bright and clean. Carpet in the room a bit dirty; breakfast was not too good as the food were either too sweet or too salty... overall pleasant experience... love the bed and comfy-ness of the pillows.

The staff in the hotel is very kind and patience with many of my requests. They kindly answer all of my question, help me with arranging the room and parking. The chef from the restaurant also help give suggestion for the food. The only thing that i have trouble with is the access card. I booked several rooms in several floors and the access card is only allowed me to go to 1 floor, so i need to bring several cards just to go to each room. Everything works out well in the end and i am happy with the service that all the staff provide.

Ok but as a first for me at Mercure a bit disappointing. The dinner is chaotic and not high quality. The breakfast was Franky poor - worst I’ve had in a month of travels. The tea was cold; I asked two staff for hot tea or at least hot water, and was told ‘We don’t have’. Bathroom shower very low set, as the loo.

« Short 2 night stay in Mercure Kota »

This was my third stay at this property. As usual, I am happy with the customer service provided by Mercure Kota staff. Was upgraded to Deluxe room - room was spacious, comfortable, high floor. Very good air cond, nice warm bed with OK tv selection. Toilet was nicely refurbished with power shower. Breakfast was more local and on a small scale and restaurant was pretty quiet. Should improve on the local dishes because they were not delicious - senior chef needs to be retrained. Smoking should be banned at the hotel lounge. The smoke makes the hotel lobby very much less desired!

The room is clean and everything is fine, but in my room the lamp on the door are broken / missing. So i can't turn off the bed lamp because it's too dark if i turn off the bed lamp. But overall is great. Thank you.
