The hotel was dirty and falling apart and did not feel safe. Some staff were friendly.

« Worse hotel experience - despite helpful staff - damaging the Ibis brand »

- Had to change room twice. Only the third room was acceptable as on refurbished floor - Dirty (stained carpets / hair on shower wall) - Mouldy - 2 out of 3 rooms with strong smell of sewage - impossible to stay in Colleagues from around the world were at hotel and vowed to never use Ibis ever again. Shame as this hotel does not reflect Ibis or Accor standards

Pro- pretty clean , nice view helpful staff , weekend market right next to it , close to subway Con- No tea, coffe or cutlery in the room , had to ask for extra towels from staff ( 1 /person in the begining ), front door always close so we had to used a side one . Magnetic cards failing everyday with no exception, Windows cannot be opened , extremley small batroom , area not so safe

« Everything satisfactory a few things that could be improved »

Room 1417 lock on door was different cult to open, shower in room 1417 needs to be repaired, breakfast on Thursday was poor, many items were not available because it was too busy and the staff could not keep up. Otherwise all was as expected.

Horrible service. Initially gave me the key to someone else’s room, no apology. Had a pass delivered to the hotel before I arrived as we only had 2 days in Paris. They insisted they never recieved it, wasted 3 hours going to the tourist office and back- the manager had it on his desk. No compensation for wasted time. Rooms are horriblly dated, water stains everywhere and only 1 power point.

Initially was given the key to someone else room. No apology. Had a museum pass delivered to the hotel- hotel insisted on 3 seperate occasions they never received it. Wasted 3 hours in town sorting it out, turns out the hotel did have it. No apology, or compensation for the trip up and back twice. Only 1 powerpoint in the room near TV, not one in the bathroom. Room is dated, water damage and stains everywhere, flooring is weird plastic/carpet with stains. It quiet far, on the very outskirts of Paris- an hour by metro to main monuments. Hotel is across from car-park which seems very dodgy. Only good thing was the view from the top floors.

« Bellow expectations. »

I have stayed in differents ibis around the world ( belgium, brazil, france, portugal etc) but this one was totally bellow expectations. I always choose ibis because I know i will have a cleam room and a good bed but this hotel needs to be looked with different eyes and be improved. Check in: didnt greet, didnt ask for documentation, didnt inform about the hotel services, told me would find someone to put a crib in the room, but never got the crib for a 1 year old baby. Hotel lobby is very dirty and with lots of spiders web that you can see when you get the elevator to the restaurant. The celing has lots of dirty etc. Restaurant was closed, not even a sign in the reception. I had to ask and that is when they said it was closed because they had not enought guests. Breakast: food was ok but not a clean place and not clean silverware or chinaware. I tried 3 mugs, all of them with lipstick marks, then I had to use a paper cup. Floor was dirty, Forks and Knives not polished with rest of food. Very disappointing.

Overall very disappointing. We booked 8 rooms for a group after cycling from London to Paris. The staff were very helpful and despite the lack of space were able to help us store our bikes securely. However, the most of the rooms on the 8th floor were in a very poor condition. They were damp and there was a strong smell of sewage coming from the poorly ventilated bathrooms. We have stayed in other Ibis hotels and have never encountered such poor accommodation. We immediately asked to move rooms but the hotel was fully booked so could not transfer. The staff were helpful and sympathetic but the best they could offer was to stray the rooms with air freshener. As the organiser of the group booking I was horrified by the state of the rooms and had to apologise to the group. The "budget" Ibis we had stayed in the night before in Amiens was so much better in every way. As a standard Ibis from the 8th floor up we had expected better accommodation but were badly let down. I cannot possibly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is very easy to find. Staff was friendly and spoke English. Overal the room was great, however when I first came into the room I could smell that the previous guest had been smoking in the room (but that's not the hotel's fault). Also the shower was broken, but they fixed it immediately after I told the reception. But in general I had a good experience.

Worst hotel I have ever been, in to. They described as newly refurbished rooms. But we resive old dirty room with hard smell of cigarettes inside and dirty carpets. When we started to complain and desided to leave hotel, administration changed the room to refurbished but not newly and not very nice. Hotel was terrible and I will never come back to Ibis

Fine room with fantastic view on the city and friendly staff in a hotel with a practical location should earn top satisfaction points. However there is room for improvement: Breakfast staff are too few to manage keeping all items continuously available (a difficult problem to solve considering many travel groups), there is no bar service available in weekends, and the security level is so high that your key card stops functioning each and every day during your stay.

« Very poor rooms with not working air condition system and non opening widnow »

During the stay we haven't seen any pluses of the hotel except price. But if know such quality of the rooms and location around, we would overpay to stay in a better conditions. Room: In the room there is no possibility to open the window. Outside was about +23 degree and air condition system was working for heating only. It was such hot inside and no air that we were needed to open the door to the room to let colder air come inside of the room... There was a small in the room of something (maybe carpet?) and with combination of no fresh air it was terrible... We were such wet during the night while sleeping... Window cover was not working at all, so we were not able to open the window properly, only to half. In overall we didn't feel ourselves safe being in this hotel. A lot of gypsy people around.
