The breakfast was great but slightly pricey. I was in room 211 and I was woken from 9pm - 11pm both night as I could hear the laundry being put on and the machine going which made for tired days. Staff were friendly.

OK but the breakfast let you down. 3 breakfasts and each day we had to ask for something, among them, no teaspoons, no dish for used tea bags. no glasses , no butter, no cereal bowls, no lids on at least two hot food dishes, cold plates for cooked breakfast, Pastry stand three croissants, middle plate empty and a few twists on bottom plate !! and when salmon ran out not replaced, and there was no shot glasses . we ate at 8.30 and were not impressed, and to top it off the dishes stayed on the table. !!

Placed in an adjoining room for 350 a night. Although you couldn't get through to other romm, noise was terrible from couple next door. Have stayed at sofitel and qt museum, much better for the price.

I was very disappointed with the service this time. My internet connection was having intermittent faults with very slow speeds to then disconnecting. This was not caused by my devices as I tested all of them in various ways. I also has issues with the room not being serviced properly after the first night. I attempted to order dinner late on the second night of my stay through in room dining to be called back 40 mins later to be told the item i had ordered was not in stock and would I like an alternative. Due to the time I ended up eating some popcorn from the mini bar for dinner instead and went to bed hungry. I told the person at the desk the morn upon checkout, although he concurred with me that the level of service was not good no apologies were offered. The level of service since my last stay has definitely diminished. I will be back in a few weeks for three nights and if I have a similar experience I will have to pursue other options when travelling to Wellington on business. Which will be approx 3 nights a month from now on. I recently stayed at the Grand Mercure in Da Nang, Vietnam for 10 nights and the level of service offered there was impeccable.

Did not spend much time in hotel but did ask for room to be serviced at 10am and returned after 2pm to find it had not happened. Perhaps it should be policy to make up rooms with service signs first

I have to say that considering I booked quite a few months ago and our stay was for 3 nights,the room was a little disappointing.There wasn't even enough space to fit our 2 suitcases.No privacy when we used the toilet,only a glass rollador with a huge gap.The staff were friendly and very helpful.Would'nt recommed staying there for what you pay and we will be staying elsewhere next year. The room was small but comfortable. The staff were friendly but untrained. The first night we spoke to the concierge about dinner recommendations. We told her we wanted steak or lamb. She put us in a marginal pub filled with young people playing pool and loud music. The food was not good at all. The check in agent told us where to get breakfast but not the hours of the buffet. We slept in and got to the Restaurant after 10 am. I ordered scrambled eggs and they brought ice cold eggs left over from the buffet. Who does that? When I sent them back, they just reheated the old eggs in the microwave. They didn't charge for it, but it was inedible.
