The staff are always very friendly. I love the free chocolates left in my room, they are such a personal touch. Also love the glass of wine after a days work. The atmosphere at the Grand Mecure is very cozy & I always feel safe.

Fantastic service, friendly staff, great food, loved the Cookies! The décor is amazing. Only negative the air-con unit in my room was noisy when turning on and off, more evident at night when hotel is otherwise very quiet.

The guy on the front counter was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. We had a nice breakfast. The bar staff were good.

« A beautiful, modern hotel. »

From the time we arrived the front of staff were very pleasant and professional. The room was lovely and beautifully furnished. Unfortunately while having a drink at the bar in the evening, the bar staff were standing around and talking loud enough for us to hear about their social life. However the morning staff were very pleasant and we were very impressed with the selection for breakfast. Overall we enjoyed our stay and look forward to our stay again in a few weeks.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, excellently renovated rooms. Delicious coffee. Staff served me a fresh croissant on the house as I did not want a buffet breakfast. Cookies at reception very addictive. Room a little noisy on first morning with somebody talking loudly on a phone either below in the forecourt or in a hallway.

« Good stay overall for my daughter and I. »

First impression was great. Friendly service at the reception upon check-in. When we went to bed we were woken by a loud screeching noise (maybe from the pipes?) at 2.30am that wouldn't stop. It went on for 10 minutes before I called the reception. Security was sent up promptly and I was told 'some sort of machine broke and they turned it off'. Breakfast restaurant was wonderful with great views. The service wasn't great. I had to put my empty plates and glasses on the table next to me to make room for a second dish. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. The buffet wasn't restocked. I had to asked for butter and was told to check with one of the girls. I wouldn't have expected that the message was passed on and the butter restocked on the buffet. Also, the yoghurt pottles weren't restocked. Our breakfast time on Sunday was 8.45am. And we stayed in the restaurant for 45 minutes. Other than us, there were four tables (with couples) occupied.
