« Ibis is a clean, convenient, wallet-friendly and quick stay. »

We have stayed at this Zurich Ibis for a number of years. It is close to family and the Zurich airport and affordable. It has provided a great jumping off point to the rest of our trip and the perfect last day. The breakfast on-house is generous and so convenient. The staff is always friendly and efficient. There are even walking trails to unwind or stretch out, just outside the door.

Sorry for my late feedback. Although I stayed there only for one night, I could enjoyed the hotel and all staff in the hotel were fantastic. They always smile and take care of guests. I asked a lot of question; however they tried to answer for every question very kindly. I think these good atmosphere in the hotel is encouraged through their good team works.

« Mixed: reservation was a disaster - stay in the hotel was good »

At arrival, the reception desk didn't inform us that we had a double booking. We only find out when we received our Mastercard statement that there was a mistaken in the reservation process. Stay at the hotel was good. Breakfast choices are adequate. The insulation of the floor are not optimal, we were hearing foodsteps of the neighours and the guest on the higher floor.

Dear Sir, Thank you for having left your feedback. Honestly, I was a little bit suprised about the rating. Our receptionist told you upon check in that we have two reservations under your name (it would have been too late to cancel anyway). I have checked the system and I have the prove that the two confirmations for two non refundable reservations have been sent out. Actually it would have been our right to keep the money for two rooms, as they were regularly reserved by you and held for your. After having received your e-mail and as I have seen that it really was a accident, I have waived the fee for the second room. Regarding the fact that we have lost money for our hotel and invested some of my time to find out what has happened with your reservation, I am pretty disappointed that we get such a feedback for our performance. Still I am happy that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel and maybe you will visit us again in the future. I hope this would happen without any accidents or misunderstandings. « Lack of hooks and noisy chairs in other rooms. »

It is astonishing that Ibis provide only one coat hook in the bedroom and none in the bathroom. This is not a satisfactory situation when you have coats and a toiletry bag needing to be hung up. It appears that all the chairs provided in all the rooms are of the same construction with steel tubular legs, which when moved create a LOT of noise, which is heard not only in the room concerned but in the rooms either side and in rooms on the floor below. Our sleep was disturbed a number of times by chairs being scraped around up until 03.00 hrs in the morning. Not conducive to a good nights sleep.

« Why weren’t plastic cups replaced? »

Great location. Staff very pleasant. WIll definitely stay again. But why oh why during a 5 night stay were the plastic cups in the bathroom not replaced. Very disappointing.

Stayed in the hotel since it was partnering with the IronMan event. Location is pretty far from Zurich center and very close to the main road which brings lot of noise. Stafx was not very friendly and the rooms did not have air conditioning which was an issue.

It is stated online that there is no aircon in our Hotel, therefore we give our guests a room with a fan facing the road so it is cooler than facing the 'quiet' side whit direct sunlight all day long. The city centre is reachable within 20minutes with public transport as the bus stop is in front of the hotel. We are sorry to hear that our hotel did not meet your expectations.
