extremely useless person at the reception. no English skills at all, gave me the wrong room, accounting was screwed up at checkout, 3 days ticket for parking garage did only work at one day, so I had many angry people queuing up behind me without any chance to go back and provide others the chance to get out. some waitress had expressed inappropriate behavior against guests.

For a reservation for 4 rooms, we were forced to take the more expensive "flexible" rate (the non refundable rate was no longer available??). At check-out, we were asked to pay separately (rather than charging the company's credit card that has been used to make the reservation) which is an additional administrative hustle on our side and a loss of time.

It was nice to be given a free bottle of water in the room considering it was a hot day, but it was warm water as there was no fridge, and it didn't make up for the complete lack of air conditioning. It was simply too hot the entire time. The room was also very poorly lit, and there were almost no complimentary toiletries, which was a problem as none of the local shops seemed to sell things like toothpaste or disposable razors. I don't even recall seeing tea and coffee in the room, which I think has been standard in every other hotel I've ever stayed in.

Room was in front of the elevator so it bacame noisy very early in the morning (5-6 am). Breakfast was disappointing. No eggs, only one type of cheese, and on the second morning there was no cheese at all. No vegetables. Several times there was no one available in the reception. Double room was nice, but not enough power sockets and not enough light. Also some of the lamps did not work.

Heat and noise make for some negatives

Let me begin with a huge positive: the staff were wonderful: instantaneously helpful, friendly, welcoming. Everything you want from front desk folks. The negatives have to do with warmth in the room and noise. The warmth at night, combined with no temperature control in the room, only a comforter--no thin sheet--and no opening windows, made it impossible to sleep comfortably. The noise resulted from some sort of work on the floor above. It woke me one morning (it was late, almost 9, but I'd had such trouble sleeping that I was very upset at having been woken), and it was still going on that afternoon, when I left my conference to come back for a nap. One other odd thing: during that attempt at a nap, someone opened my room door. They immediately shut it, but it was weird.

- bed and pillow : bad quality, neck blocked after this night - cold ventilation I could not stop so I was cold all night long - low pressure shower - the taxi I had asked to booked the night of my arrival for the next morning, was not booked by the staff so I arrived late at my important business meeting this hotel is worth 60 EUR max not 130 eur, low cost for everything, staff included
