« Heat and noise make for some negatives »

Let me begin with a huge positive: the staff were wonderful: instantaneously helpful, friendly, welcoming. Everything you want from front desk folks. The negatives have to do with warmth in the room and noise. The warmth at night, combined with no temperature control in the room, only a comforter--no thin sheet--and no opening windows, made it impossible to sleep comfortably. The noise resulted from some sort of work on the floor above. It woke me one morning (it was late, almost 9, but I'd had such trouble sleeping that I was very upset at having been woken), and it was still going on that afternoon, when I left my conference to come back for a nap. One other odd thing: during that attempt at a nap, someone opened my room door. They immediately shut it, but it was weird.

- bed and pillow : bad quality, neck blocked after this night - cold ventilation I could not stop so I was cold all night long - low pressure shower - the taxi I had asked to booked the night of my arrival for the next morning, was not booked by the staff so I arrived late at my important business meeting this hotel is worth 60 EUR max not 130 eur, low cost for everything, staff included

« Some good points, but some bad... »

I slept well, in a dark quiet bedroom, and ate well in the charming restaurant. The situation of the hotel beside the RER station is perfect. But there were flaws. My room was insufficiently lit - no more than dim. In the toilet, the bulb was 20 or 25 watts, no more. Worst of all, neither the bedroom radiator nor the bathroom radiator worked. I could not control the temperature. Fortunately, despite cold weather, I was never cold. Then, in the bathroom, the bath plug let the water out... I couldn't have had baths if I hadn't had my own plug with me. And the shower-head holder slipped down to shoulder height, so a comfortable standing shower was not possible. I used to go up and down to the 4th floor by the stairs. Three trays of room service remains were present on the floor of the landing from my arrival on Sunday through Monday and Tuesday morning, and had only been removed by my return on Tuesday evening.

(1) Early check-in was granted without any issue, with very friendly check-in staff. (2) Numerous times I forgot my key in the room, the reception did not for once show any displeasure to open the door for me. (3) Location wise, it is not so optimal if you would like to get to Paris, but for me to visit customer, the location is alright. (4) Car park a little bit challenging to manoveur.

« We had 2 very comfortable nights with excellent facilities and very convenient to the station »

Our stay exceeded our expectations. A short walk from the station we had a very comfortable room with everything we could need. Breakfast was terrific as was the tea & Coffee on offer throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed the comfort our bed and the restaurant hours for breakfast. The staff were most helpful.

Although the hotel was ok, there was chaos in the middle of the night when the fire alarm was triggered 4 times between 3:30 and 4am! Staff did not know what to do and although they knew they were false alarms, allowed the lifts to be used and sent people back to their rooms, they could not silence the alarm as it was "against the law". Come on Accor Group, get your safety training together!

I had four (4) false fire alarms during the night between 02:00 and 04:00 in the night preventing me sleeping. I had to pay 10 Euros for a breakfast that I did not want. The choice of the breakfast was unacceptably limited for this type of accommodation. I was not offered any compensation for the sleepless night at checkout considering that the four false fire alarms were all caused by the faulty fire alarm of the hotel. I consider the value for money for my stay completely dissatisfactory and unacceptably low. I will make sure that I never book a room at an Accor hotel again in the future.
