Wonderful staff, great room, super breakfast, bed had a plastic sheet which made us too hot and stopped us sleeping as did the noise from outside - especially on the Monday night.

« Good place to stay »

I enjoyed the generous breakfast, flexibility of the staff, location, cleaning. I dislike the fact that was not warm enough in the room and the heather was almost not working (i informed the staff about it), the towels were having a funny fragrance. The rest was ok.

The room was not cleaned after the first day and a stranger came in to my room in the night. I didn't sleep much after that. So two errors and a bad stay for me.

as said above. However, one negative point concerns noise during the night: I had the impression that at least from 5am onward people were working nearby. Around 6am, clearly tables/closets were being moved somewhere near the room.

« Very nice, historical venue, well decorated, a bit inconvenient to access. »

Rooms were nicely decorated and the complemetary water bothle was appreciated as well as the coffee and tea in the room. The bathroom was definitely too small, with no space to display toiletries and no bathtub the room was cold when I arrive at the hotel: i was told to wait for 20 minutes and it would get better, so I lef the room for a while having turned on the heating. good breakfast good bar/small restaurant offer with friendly service from personnel.; we had to wait long for our food and the waiter saw that and offered us drinks to help us wait a bit cold in the bar (there was a draft in the room

Very small room, no bathroom ... I was really expecting more for this price. Some noise on the street below my window, the isolation should be better in the city center area. It is not acceptable to hear people shouting outside.

« Very good until after I left »

I stay 2 times a year for a week in that hotel. The last stay was not the best. I was woken up the 1st night because of the window whistling. Told the reception. Don't know if anything has been done. After I left, I realized I left some food in the fridge. Call the reception, told me they'll call me back. No call back after 1 week.

« Nantes Surprised Us, but Mercure Didn't »

We picked Nantes to visit because we needed to find a city close to the Loire Valley in France that had an airport, since we didn't want to backtrack to Paris. I really found the city charming and would go back without hesitation. The Mercure Nantes Centre Grand Hotel was all that we had expected so we had no problems, only a wonderful stay. It was modern, with great comfort and style and was located in the city center close to shopping, sights, and restaurants. The staff was always available and professional. We have never been disappointed in a Mercure hotel.
