our first impression of the hotel was with Christian at reception & he was wonderful. the bath had hair in it on arrival. The use of disposable coffee cups & plastic cup in the room has me horrified when we're all trying to reduce landfill. Surely it's better to have resusable glassware in the rooms.

We booked 2 rooms for 4 adults and 1 child. Rooms had cigarette smoking odour and extra bed was not made. The gym is really hard to find and had to use separate lift. Paris was one of our European trip early destinations, with limited internet and roaming mobile. The reservation team called and email us constantly asking us credit card details to be fill in the form... for some remaining balances that we asked many times during checking out. After finished the trip, we filled in the form although not very comfortable to send credit card details via email, no other choices.As a member and frequently booking with Accor and Novotels, this particular occasion is not a very pleasant experience at all.

« Nice location -- off the tourist areas but still close to everywhere »

Nicely located, with plenty of food, supermarket local shops, subway station within 3-5mins walk. Room is 3.5 star. It's clean though not luxurious. Free mini bars, plenty supplies of Nespresso are appreciated. Stayed in the family room with the sofa bed that works well. The only complain with the room is that it has a weak soundproofing - we can hear other guests talking as they walk to their rooms. Check-in was bad. We came at 3pm and was told to wait 15mins as they said they were checking the room, and then was told again to wait another 15mins, then another 30mins. This was unacceptable since we already came to the hotel and reconfirmed our reservation early in the morning after we landed -- we understood that checkin time was 3pm so we came back at 3pm sharp only to find the room was not ready (imagine having two children very tired after 15hrs of flight). When we asked where we can have early dinner while waiting (since the hotel only start serving dinner by 7pm) the staff had a very limited knowledge and said that only McDonald was open at this hour -- we walked for 5mins and found some nice restaurants (not McD) still open.

When we made the booking for our extended family of 17 through the Novotel/Accor central booking line by phone, they had screwed up the number of people to each room and the number of people in our group. As a result when we came in for check in there was a bit of confusion for the front desk staff. In spite of this confusion the front desk staff went out of the way to accommodate us. Especially, Kristoff went out of the way to make sure we had settled in well and was very helpful providing directions and suggestions for restaurants in Paris. We are very satisfied with the service provided by front desk staff, room service, house keeping and restaurant staff.

Very good service all round. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was also comfortable and large. The breakfast was great, as was the evening meal. All the staff were extremely polite and friendly. We would stay there again and would recommend to our friends and family.

« Disappointing »

Overall the stay was not bad. Out biggest complain is about the staff. On our first night,I headed to the bar in order to ask for a plate to heat up soup in my room. The bartender gave me a flat plate (not suitable for soups) and I asked him to switch it for another one a bit deeper. After literally 2 seconds of search he told me in a very rude way and in very bad manners that he was very busy to look for a plate. Afterwards, I walked to the reception and a very nice receptionist whose name I can't remember finally gave me the plate (it took him less than a minute). I worked for Accor before and I have never seen anybody address to a guest like that. DEFINETELY NOT HEARTIST.

« Not so pleasant »

Poor service. Front desk clerk wasn’t knowledgeable about our travel package and missled us a lot. We didn’t get tow rooms that are connected and breakfast was included in hotel package but they told us it’s not included so we had to buy breakfast everyday. Also hotel key cards Were working every single day so we had to replace EACH time.

Roof top was closed which was very disappointing- however only a 20min walk from Eiffel Tower. Room was ready for us as had a family room so sofa bed was setup. Nice room, not super spacious but worked. Shower leaked water everywhere on floor.

« A comfortable, quiet room for Christmas »

Excellent receptionist who made us feel welcome after a long trip. Quiet room at rear of hotel and high up. A really good night's sleep, excellent black-out curtains. Comfortable bed, kettle and mini bar made us feel quite at home. A non-slip mat for the slippery bottom of the bath was provided within minutes of the request. A walk-in shower would have been even better for us.

This hotel is positioned in a very convenient location: Metro station Vaugirard is very near to it. Bus station "Vaugirard Favorite" is just 20meter away! Taking Bus 80 you can go near Eifel tower. Taking bus 70 you can go near Louvre Museum. Also, from the 7th floor you can see the Eifel tower dazzling! You can easily go to Eifel tower from the hotel using taxi. The taxi fare is only 10 Euros around. You can also ask the reception for a paris city night tour with a taxi. They know someone who can manage it with around 65-70 Euros (2hours). The rooms are spacious. The reception, the service and staffs are wonderful! Thanks to Mrs. Selina for her service. The TV channels has mostly French channels. The breakfast is average.

Dear Manager, I stayed at room 611 since 15/12 until 18/12 when I did the check out. Now me and my family are at Disney Magic Circus Hotel, until 23/12. And just when we arrived here that we realized that probably I had forgotten my nécessaire and a hair product at the room. Have you found it, by chance?
