Nice welcome, nice room and very quiet . The hotel is in the center but not in the ZTL. The hotel style is very typical of Italian Mercure. I did not eat in the hotel you have plenty of restaurants around .

I always enjoy staying at the Mercure in Reggio Emilia. My room was comfortable and as always the breakfast was very good! It is conveniently located and all staff are friendly and helpful.

Room at smoking floor: nobody ask me during booking or checking if I want this floor or another one. The balcon in front of the window of my room was used by other Customer as drinking and smoking baclon. The result: up to 1 am quite every night a lot of noise, on the windowd the ashtray full of cigarette buts and a cigarette smell in the corridors and in my room because Windows isolation is not good! Price of restaurant not at the level of the food! Only breakfast was quite good! I will not come here again despite the fact that I am in Reggio amost 1 week every month.

Friendly, welcoming persons at the reception. Hotel starts to show his age but is clean and comfortable enough. Internet speed was a bit on the low side for 2019 level but nothing too terrible. Location is great.

Shower head was not secured and kept slipping down the pole. Water was either boiling hot or cold. Only one pillow per bed and was hard and flat. There were bugs flying around the room one night.

The hotel is a little dated and decor could use some modernisation. The rooms too were varied. We had several rooms and some were modernised and some very dated and dark. However, breakfast was great, the staff absolutely delightful and the complimentary bar snacks each evening very welcome after a full day of work.

Fine for a short stay, rooms a bit old fashioned and could do with a refresh. The access system and controls for my room broke during my stay, room could only be accessed with old fashioned key and no control of the heating system led to the room becoming a bit worm. Breakfast was fine, ate once in restaurant and it was fine also. Easy access by car to the motorway system and a short walk to the lovely town centre of Reggio Emilia. I would certainly use again, but would be nice to see the rooms updated a bit.

Rate issue to attend to please. I confirmed a 7 night stay at Euro 78 per night then organised the same rate for two others in my team. I was charged differently on 4 of the nights (Euro 83,86,86,130). This rate included breakfast for one team member(Julia Ramble) but not for two of us. I have just noticed I have been charged for breakfast 7 x Euro 9.00 which I only had one day of and cancelled so I need a refund on this too. Please help me to sort this out. My team member (Julia) had a much better room, double bed, kettle etc and she was a new Accor member whilst I am a Gold member. Please see the Invoice/Receipt (Ricevuta Fiscale 18083), in on 19 Oct and out on 26 Oct. I believe I should only have paid Euro 78 x 7 days and 1 x Euro 9 for one breakfast. The rest of the breakfasts were cancelled after the first day as we did not wish to pay extra (Mr Joseph Guerrieri and I) when our team member got it included in the same rate. I paid this in full on the day of the check out and would like this refund please. Very helpful Front Desk people up to that point.

Would recommend the hotel to everyone and I'm in hotels at least 200 nights per year. Two recommendations: 1. The pillows were unusual and really did not like them, took to long to find a comfortable position. 2. Breakfast was good but a limited selection.
