I am absolutely satisfied with my stay in Novotel Kirchberg Luxembourg. My baggage was lost during the flight and the personnel were very helpful giving me toiletry. Also the cleanliness of my room met my expectations.

The hotel was lovely, staff friendly the room was great. The only downside was the pillows for the bed, they were so uncomfortable and no matter what I did I could not get a decent night's sleep, which is a shame as everything else was fine.

Hotel was ok, room is a little older than I expected for a 4stars, older carpet and shower, room was not super clean when I walked in, there was some dust and someone's hair on the bathroom floor which is a disappointing sight for such a hotel. There was a large group of kids for a sporting event and they were loud in the corridor but that's nothing the hotel can control. The pillows were not comfortable to my liking. The breakfast was frankly the best thing about the hotel. The staff at the desk were also quite friendly and helpful when I asked for an iron and ironing board. The iron was not clean so when I used it I actually made a stain on a shirt that I was ironing, likely from some minerals in the water that had built up on the little vapor holes of the iron, quite annoying to have to spot was a shirt for this reason.

Rooms are large, clean and with good sort of ammenities. I appreciate that Staff is very friendly, having a smile and hello when you pass by, and also helpful. Breakfast has a very large choice of products and quality is good( not excellent as in ham or scrambled eggs which were a bit dry) I was during Halloween and liked that the hotel had gone through extensive decorations. It puts you in the mood. I hope the same is done in Christmas. The only negative points for me are that parking is paying , specially for regular customers , and that the heating is through the air conditioning system which is noisy during the night.

The stay was very good, the rooms were spacious, breakfast was fulfilling, the evening restaurant ok, in fact for the price id say the restaurant was the letdown. Would i go back? yes, though it is still pricey. That said its in a prime location and hotels in Lux are nearly always full.

Very good size for the room. The gym was even better than at the Sofitel around. The breakfast was really amazing for the usual level of Novotel: smoothie of day, amazing choice of tea, gluten free area and even a special corner around a seasonal fruit. I was there when it was around the pear, so we had pear cake, pear yogurt, and so on... I didn't use the room service so I can't tell about it but I definitely recommend this hotel is you want to stay in Kirchberg.

« Experience was not as good as last 3 years. »

People at reception were very friendly. Room was nice, however, rain shower did not work properly. Breakfast was fine, staff friendly. For dinner however, the experience was not good at all. At the reception during check-in they told us we didn't have to make a reservation for the restaurant. When we wanted to go to eat in the evening, the staff didn't want to find a solution for us all, since no room for 10 people, although we didn't ask for 1 table for all 10. 3 different tables were ok for us. We said that the reception people told us that reservation was not needed. The people in the restaurant replied: " they don't know at the reception". Finally we found an easy solution ourselves, and even then they were extremely unfriendly and not supportive. Disappointing. Also in the bar, we had to wait very long before they came to ask what we wanted to drink. Normally, we would have drunk 3 or 4 drinks, now we only had one. Summary: staff in bar and restaurant was not of the same level as staff at reception and breakfast. We have stayed in the hotel last 3 years in this period of year. This time we didn't go home with a good feeling. Since we have to come back next year to the region, we will reconsider where to stay.

We spent a couple of days in this hotel beginning of October, when staying with a family in Luxembourg. This hotel is placed in a center of Luxembourg Business District, therefore it has more of a business character. Nevertheless, it is close to the city center and well communicated with the rest of the city (tram line stop and bus stops in a walking distance from the hotel). Rooms are classic Novotel, before the redecoration. Breakfasts are copious and well prepared (self-service). There is an outside area where you can sit down with your beer. However, otherwise than that it is a business hotel. Keep that in mind when booking your room.
