We were satisfied with our stay given it was what we needed travelling having baby and toddler. Staff were very helpful, pleasant and always accommodating. Breakfast was sufficient and family room was ideal however very dated. Wouldn’t give the hotel 5 stars -4stars would be better suited.

This was a nice airy hotel with excellent pools and well maintained gardens and public areas. Our room was very good. However the shower had patches of mould, which could easily have been cleaned. We booked one evening meal. The buffet was good, although deserts lacking in choice. We didn't get our glasses of wine until we had almost finished our main course, which we found unacceptable as the restaurant was not busy. One morning there were no beach towels available, although I accept this was probably due to other guests who seemed to have 2 or 3 each - perhaps they could be allocated more carefully. We were impressed with the staff, who were very friendly and polite. We had to wait well after check in time to get our room, which had been changed for some reason. We were offered a free non alcoholic drink, but this didn't make up for lost time.

I spent 2 nights, with the second day spent fully at the hotel. We truly appreciate the special attention, smaller detail, cleanliness, hospitality and overall beauty of the resort. My 6 and 9 y/o girls enjoyed the pool, the private beach and the kids club activities.

Being a gold member was very looked after, lovely decorated room upgrade. Staff friendly and happy to please you. Spot was perfect for a relaxing couple of days. Guest services amazing. Special cocktail night for Accor members was a treat.

It was a nice place to stay... The beach location is close to the swimming pool, it make my kids happy... But, as a moeslem, it's difficult to have cullinary vacation around the hotel

The hotel was old but still okay and quiet nice for family. But we've got the room across the street which is not so comfortable for us since the breakfast and beach is across the street. Over all the hotel was good enough.

Excellent structure, very gently staff and good location for resting. The swimming pool, the sea view and the sun rise are the strongest points. Food is average for a 5 stars, not a differential. very good value per money. Strongly recommend.

In general, a good experience particularly the staff was helpful and friendly, and very well trained and professional. Have to give credit to the the management for their hiring practice, ability to motivate the staff and training provided. Place was generally well maintained and well kept. Some minor points which I thought could be improved upon: - While I'm sure it is cleaned, the floor in the room did looked and feel a little less than ideally cleaned. - A/C feels a little weak in the heat of the day. - A little disappointed that the shuttle bus to Bali Collection was not operating during my stay as the bus had broken down. While I believe it is not the hotel's fault, perhaps it is something you can work with the relevant vendor.

« Overall, our experience (fifth time we have stayed at the Novotel Bali Benoa) was great, as expected »

We love the design, layout and amenities of the Novotel Bali Benoa. I did notice that, over the years (our first visit was in 2009) parts of the resort really need some maintenance/refurbishment. The private pool villas are still good, but I think they will require attention very soon. For the most part, staff were friendly and welcoming, however, I felt that the Spa staff rather indifferent, bordering on rude.

My husband and I have been travelling to Bali close to 30 years and more recently have felt that the island was losing its identity, beauty and tradition with the constant development and hustle and bustle. But, we had never travelled or stayed on the calm beaches of Benoa were we rediscovered that Bali we love at the Novotel. From that first welcome at reception from the lovely Komang to the staff at the restaurant, bar and day spa. We loved our spacious room, the beautiful pool, bar and dining areas, especially the buffet dining set up on the beach, that lovely touch of traditional musicians playing while trying to select from all of the delicious choice of dishes at breakfast, overall a wonderful and memorable experience. I must also commend the Novotel on their Vocational Training program for young people from Lombok to work and gain hospitality experience, they were delightful and so enthusiastic.

When i check in i request to setup honeymoon decoration however there is no decoration in the room. There is no signal for the telephone in the room and dont know how can we contact the staff or front desk to ask something due to our room very far way from lobby (the location of room is across to the lobby) . When i go outside in the afternoon then i come to lobby desk to ask setup the sofa bed , there is no sofa bed to prepare when i go back to the room in late evening. I try to contact the staff again in crocodile bar telephone because my telephone in the room not working. Its difficult to contact the staff since there is no staff in this location . The room also near to Padmasana and make us little bit worried.

Overall experience was really fantastic, location is beautiful, hotel very comfortable and breakfast amazing. Unfortunately had a booking mix up with rooms, the hotel did accommodate us with an upgrade (it was an extra cost, but worth it). Only complaint, the bath in our room kept leaking, making the floor slipper and dangerous, it did take numerous attempts over a week to finally repair.

The service from the staff team was very warm and attentive and made our stay enjoyable. We were very disappointed by the lack of a proper beach as we were expecting a nice beachfront hotel. Our room was nice but the floor felt a bit sticky. Breakfast spread is not bad but the standard of the food is just average. It will be worth looking into revamping the menu and recipes.

My wife and l have stayed in many hotels around the world and compare them. We feel that this hotel was average about a 2/3 star in our ratings. Although we had tea and coffee facilities in our room l drink tea but was offered only black tea no breakfast English tea.The hotel room had a few problems due to lack of maintenance and the fact the hotel is getting old and needs a refurbishment.The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. On one occasion we had an early start due to an excursion and was hoping to get a hot drink from the breakfast that was set up down stairs.But when we asked to do this we were told that the machines for the hot drinks had not yet been turned on so we’re not ready.
