Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was hot and there was no way to cool it down! Breakfast had lots of options. The room had plenty of light. The bathroom needed a new walk in shower. The tub was difficult to get in and out of. The location was good. We could walk to where we wanted to go.

« The worst Mercury experience »

The room was not clean. I had hair from previous people on the 2 seats and that made me seek. Not to say that the room wan't renovated for a very long time...I payed 470 euros for it... I've booked the hotel because we always use Accor Hotels when we go in holidays (this time, I created my own account - usually my wife takes care of hotel reservation - this time was for business reasons and I was alone).

I've seen many mercury hotels, but never seen such poor quality of the room (and not sufficiently clean). Not to tell that I've payed 470 euro for the night. I'm not going to book again the same hotel.

« Not a 4star experience. Not even a 3 star experience. »

The hotel was located centrally, and the staff were nice. I can't complain about that. But everything else was not even on par with a 3 star hotel. The breakfast that was paid for was just bacon, boiled and scrambled eggs. The price does not justify the facilities offered either. I stayed at a 5 star property in Zurich and Berlin for half the price and got more services. I understand Paris is expensive as well, and I don't mind paying extra. But give it a rating of 4 star hotel is a huge stretch. Overall, one of the mediocre hotels I've stayed at. The staff are nice and that's the only reason the experience wasn't totally bad.

« Sleep was impossible. »

I was in a room on the first floor across from the elevator and facing the street which was extremely noisy. I should have asked for another room immediately but thought that for only one night I could handle it. That was a mistake. It was impossible to sleep and I left for the airport extremely fatigued but happy to leave. I don't think I'd stay at this hotel again; certainly not in a similar room.

I overall liked the hotel, but on both mornings, I did not get my wake up calls. And, there was never an apology nor an explanation why they did not come. It is a bad way to start the day when you wake up already behind schedule.

the hotel was clean and breakfast was good. The location is excellent, however the double bed is small for two people and no complimentary utilities/services available like water in the room, toothpaste and towel slippers considering its a four star hotel. Thank you.

Terrible check-in experience - slow and unhelpful. Tiny rooms with very bad heating/cooling. The fan turned off when the light went off. Only one lift that was very slow

LOCATION WAS FANTASTIC. LOBBY PEOPLE WARE VERY HELPFUL. FOOD WOULD BE BETTER TO CHANGE LITTLE BIT. I STAYED 7DAYS BRAEKFAST WAS ALWAYS SAME. THAT'S I WASN'T HAPPY ABOUT IT. Overall enjoyed the stay. Breakfast excellent. Tea/hot chocolate available all day. Room and bathroom clean. Good location. Only slight drawback was the renovation during our stay esp smell of paint/glue only in the corridor. Also lift is small.

The stay was nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. That is the best part about the stay. The bed was also very comfortable. The hotel was being remodeled or refurbished which caused lots of problems: the shower was stopped up, the lights and air conditioning didn't work properly, the room wasn't ready on time, no eggs for breakfast. The staff didn't seem prepared sometimes, but the issues managed to be sorted out. In spite of the problems there was generally a good atmosphere at the hotel. I'd try them again when the hotel work is finished.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. While the staff were great (especially the front of house employee working on Sunday the 5th August). The air conditioning however stopped working at some point on Saturday morning, which made the room very uncomfortable to be in (let alone sleep).
