I would not stay there again

The male receptionist (manager) was surly and unhelpful. The restaurant and bar were closed. The rooms badly needed refurbishing.

Fine. I would have liked cold water in a jug in the fridge and maybe a glass to drink it from. Also a few earl grey tea bags would have been great. I thought the positioning of the air con , which points straight at your face while sleeping was not ideal. Otherwise fine.

The Ibis Styles in Kununurra is tired and definitely in need of a makeover. When I booked on line, there was a $1 breakfast on offer so I accepted and paid for it. No mention when checking in both times and nothing provided in my room so no breakfast both times. The receptionist was pleasant enough.

Our overnight stay was quite enjoyable. The room was quite spacious with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom amenities were adequate with quite a good shower. We could not resist a swim in the pool given that we had a very long road trip during the day. The value for money certainly rang true with a continental breakfast provided the next morning.

Absolutely loved it! We often come to Kununurra and have stayed din various locations. After this visit however, I can happily say that the Ibis will now be our only choice on Kununurra visits!

We were upgraded to a King room to start with. However, after we returned from getting some dinner at a nearby hotel we could not open our room door with the key card. I reported this to a staff member and she came and tried without success, even trying to use a 'master key'. The handle then broke and there was no keys that opened the back patio door so we were unable to get into our room and access all our possessions. They did give us another smaller room but it took several hours before a locksmith was able to open the original unit and we could get our gear. We were not offered any compensation for the inconvenience.

We overnighted in Kununara and we really enjoyed our sleepover at the Ibis Styles. Clean, comfortable and friendly. We were created by a very friendly lady on reception who was very helpful. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool.
