« pretty average service from staff »

staff in the restaurant seem to want to do the bare minimum - I asked for cream for my coffee and I got offered yoghurt it wasn't until a third try that they actually went to the kitchen to ask the kitchen staff. Asked if they had a toothpick - had a look in one drawer and because there wasn't any in there I was told that they don't have toothpicks. Flyscreen door needs repairing and glass door very hard to move

I was disappointed as I was told at the main desk when checking in that breakfast would be $20.00 (full cooked) but would be discounted to $15.00 by the gentleman with a strong accent. When I went to get breakfast the gentleman manning the breakfast bar advised it would be $20.00 and would not honour the $15.00 special price.

Enjoyed 3 night stay. Continental Breakfast should have fresh fruit as an option as well as tinned fruit. Experienced too much noise from bathroom extraction fan which was left on all day and night which affected night time sleep

« Comfortable, quiet and roomy »

Enjoyed the stay. Balcony gave us a grandstand view of the biggest storm in years. Check in a bit disappointing as was advised by telephone we plus our companions could receive breakfast for extra dollar per night only to be told at check in we couldn’t. Made to feel like a liar. Following which not provided with any details including wifi passcode. Checkout was good with taxi arranged and on time.

« Clean & decent accomodation however basic amenities. »

THere were no soaps, shampoos or conditions or anything provided. Only one glass provided, with 2 people booked to stay there. The towels were very worn also.

The only complaint I had was I had Breakfast on Sunday morning on my own and it was excellent I then convinced the friends that were staying at the hotel with me that it was great value for money only to find that there was only half the selection on the Monday morning Not only was there half the selection but all the dishes were empty. The staff didn't replenish any while we were there After we had sat down another couple came in look at the empty dishes then put some toast on Still no movement from the kitchen

Lovely room and staff but one of the supplied lunchs made me quite ill which caused me to miss one shift of work to the value of 600 dollars. I could see the greens were beyond edible so avoided them but something else wasn't right and made me Ill anyway. Apart from that. I can't fault my stay, but that's a pretty big fault.
