I stayed at Pullman for 4 days 3 nights for my business trip. My most impressive experience was the breakfast. It's value for money. Not only the varieties of food, but the taste and quality are also good! The hotel is located the the middle of the town, closely to Central Department store which is very convenient. The room is clean and comfortable. It would be great if they offer some free snack like biscuits.

The hotel staff is superb and highly-attentive. The property is well-maintained, elegant, and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. The lobby affords a nice place to relax and read the newspaper or just to listen to soothing live music during the evening cocktail hour. The only deficiency I noted during my stay was that the Front Desk was consistently lacking cash and was unable to change large bank notes for smaller ones. As a repeat guest, on a personal note, I still miss the Wow disco in the basement from many many years ago.

The hotel meets our expectations. Our room was spacious and the double bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful (although the service at the bar in the lobby could be improved), friendly (especially, in the fitness centre, the doormen and the cleaning staff) and competent. The breakfast buffet was well supplied and well managed. However, the hotel is situated in a very noisy locality.

« Issues with Pre-Authorization from global Travel Agent (FCM Travel) »

We at Twitch use a travel agent, who is responsible for setting up pre-pay authorization with each hotel our staff stays in. The agent is a global agent from FCM Travel. The agent had reached out to the hotel to check upon status, 10 days in advance of the stay – as well as one of the local staff members had done so. The reserveration team had confirmed that everything was setup and okay – 3 times. However, upon check-out the guests were asked to pay for themselves as they could not deduct any fees from the credit card, which is impossible – due to us having many hundred folks traveling at the same time. I believe this should improve vastly, because it determines for us where we stay in a place, and since Pullman is not able to cooperate with corporate agents, therefore we will try to find different options. In addition upon my check-in, the staff has told me that I have no membership. I have provided the email (ma…) and it was not found and pushed back to me as I have made a mistake. Upon check-out, the lady was more capabable and added my stay to my membership. I believe that you guys, should get things moving in a faster and better manner, I stay 100+ nights per year in a hotel and I expect a good service, if that is not giving, then we just move on. Other than this, the staff was friendly, the rooms old but large. The shower only had HOT or COLD water, while the drinking water is very local and tastes really poor. Friendly staff include the people at the front door, the hotel bar and the coffee shop on the ground floor.

I have taken your comments very seriously and would like to assure you that this is not a true reflection of the standards on which our hotel prides itself, as satisfying our loyal customers is of paramount importance to us. I personally investigated with the team and the difficulties you encountered upon check-in was related to the fact that we haven’t received a proper account number from FCM Travel company, but unserviceable account. However because we didn’t want our loyal guest to experience inconvenience upon check in, we enforced all check-in process without charges, and in the meanwhile, we quickly replied the Travel Agent(FCM Travel) requesting for proper account number. However, despite of numerous attempts to reach them, there was no reply until the check-out date. Regarding this issue, we have requested FCM Travel to clarify for wrong practice. Our staff is terribly disappointed by your review and the way you might have portrayed her attitude. She had no intention to offend you in any way and please accept my sincere apology if it is the case. Such situation is always difficult to handle and I truly hope on reflection you’ll see the good into what she was doing. On a lighter note I am pleased to know that you found our team friendly and helpful. Our aim is to continually improve on our excellent 5 star service and exceed guest expectations. I am happy to hear that we achieved this and will certainly pass your positive feedback to the team I have also shared your feedback with our Engineering Team to check the water temperature control system immediately to ensure that it is working properly.
