« Mid winter to the hot pools »

Very disappointing not up to usual standard only 1 face cloth and 1 hand towel for 2 people advised reception but took 24 hours to correct also spa pools only Luke warm and person in charge did not seem to know how to work the system. the hot pools were one of the main reasons for coming to Rotorua in the winter. the one good thing was we had a nice room overlooking the lake

reception team excellent, room clean, warm and spacious. Only complaint is that it would have been nice to have a dinner option cheaper than 40+ dollars. As a result we went and ate elsewhere.

The stay was very relaxing. It was my 60th Birthday and my daughter had phoned (unbeknown to me) to request a bottle of bubbly be put in the room but this was not done. A bit disappointing. But overall a nice stay

Second time in Rotorua and not the last. We will always be staying at the Novotel. From the easy checkin and check out, the wonderful facilities and staff, the awesome local food and the location it does not get much better for me

We recently stayed at the Novotel for a weekend break away. Check in was straight forward and quick, with plenty of staff (we have had issues before with queues waiting to check in and not enough staff). Our room was clean and tidy and the cleaning staff very helpful. We dined in Atlas restaurant for the seafood buffet and really enjoyed the selection and food. We had breakfast each morning which had everything we wanted and again the staff were attentive. We also had a lovely swim in the pool. All in all, a great break away for us.

The hotel is well located and has great facilities onsite. Restaurant was good quality. Staff were super friendly particularly the housekeeping team who looked after rooms and checked in with us often to make sure we had everything we needed.

We like the Novotel Rotorua and enjoy staying there. The rooms are a good size and it is located very conveiently at the bottom of Eat St. As normal we enjoyed our stay but we were dissappointed with breakfast. It was difficult to get a clean table and we ended up eating what was available not what we wanted as a lot of food options had simply run out, even tea bags. The hotel was busy but they should be used to it and this is what they aspire to, high occupancy levels.

Stayed at the Novotel Rotorua Lakeside overnight for work arrived at midnight due to work commitments, hotel is very nice check in staff was very friendly & helpful but I was tired & forgot to produce my Accor Silver club members details. Room very nice, breakfast was also good, but when I went to check out I repeatedly asked if my status points could be added the check out staff ignored me at first & then after I asked again said it was too late even when I paid on check out, when I again mentioned that he walked off without offering any assistance. I travel a lot for work & pleasure, I wasn't asked if I had transport arranged back to airport which seemed unusual as most places do. So I sat in the lobby trying to get hold of a taxi company to collect me. Unpleasant end to a nice stay at a good hotel

Nice hotel and comfortable beds. Quiet TV remote broken so we couldn’t find our details on hotel ( be good to have a paper version for those occasions) Staff couldn’t fix. Breakfast food cold hash browns etc as per usual hotel breakfasts.
