I thought ibis is a good chain hotel with above standard than small hotel. However, the room I stayed was smell which was from the toilet. There's no water kettle provided except you can get hot water from the lounge.

Main complaint was about the breakfast. At 8 45 am it was difficult to find a clean table as the trays were left on them. Why don't you have a stacking trolley to have the trays removed from the table by your guests? A number of empty bowls and trays at the food counter needed filling which took about 10 to 15 minutes. The little cold water available was warm.... It would no doubt help if the staff would not argue in the kitchen but concentrate on the job in hand, namely providing a good service to the guests....this is not difficult, surely you have a system in place. Also the coffee machine stopped working which I told one of your staff about.... instructions on the display were to empty the residue coffee container which was not done....instead an 'out of order sign' was put up instead. So as you can see not good, considering you were the highest charging hotel by far of all the various Accor hotels we stayed in during our tour through Germany.

Very convenient to Hbf as well as city center. Staff was very helpful, especially Silke (sic?). A suitcase was broken during travel to the hotel and she offered suggestions of where to purchase a replacement. Later, she personally helped search for passports we had misplaced in the room

Room was very basic, very good double glazing that shut out street and train noise but air conditioning did not work and the room was very warm. Shower door was encrusted with limescale which had gone yellow as was tile grout - needs some bleach. Washbasin was not properly cleaned. Very handy for the station.

The stay was just one night as we travelled across Germany. The price was higher than other hotels in the city but I decided to choose the recognisable brand Ibis. However, the room was so basic it didn't warrant the price. No amenities in the room beyond shower and bathroom and not even a kettle or telephone included. Could not even manage twin beds in one of the rooms and the rooms were noisy with street noise until late, but it was Saturday night. Breakfast was quite good but not beyond average fare. Definitely not worth the price. Staff were very pleasant.

The hotel is well designed and we found it quiet and comfortable for this class of accommodation. The staff were efficient and friendly. One criticism is that, as non smokers, dealing with cigarette smoke from people sitting by the main door was not a good experience.

The hotel is good value for money. Being close to the central station you expect noise in the front rooms, but the building is well insulated and has airco.The parking for bicycles is well organised, but very pricy compared to one car. You can park one car for two bicycles.
