I stay there once a month. Rooms are clean but pretty outdated. Aircon doesn’t really work very well but overall it’s a decent hotel. The staff are always lovely which is nice.

All your staff are wonderful. Made very welcome initially by Craig, he was amazing. Couldn’t fault the quick & efficient service. Craig & Stacey were kind, friendly and genuine. We stayed 10 days during a very quiet time and were catered for each morning with a delicious cooked breakfast, despite some mornings being the only customers. We found the bed uncomfortable. A mattress topper would’ve sorted that problem in a flash.

1000s of kilometers away I am already dreaming of the comfortable room and inviting pools awaiting me. The Management and staff look after me from answering my phone booking until sending the receipt by email after departure. Everything you need and expect from a resort style hotel is available...and more. Do I come back in 2019? Definitely....and most likely quite a few times. Merry Christmas!

The room (710) was too warm - the air con was working at low speed but fan speed and temperature couldn't be altered. Room faced east and days were 35 degrees, so had to use ceiling fan as well (at extra electricity cost to you). No arm-chairs in room - had a double bed and a single sofa-bed (sleep 3 people), but only one non-padded desk chair. Where do the other two guests sit to watch TV? I brought in an outdoor chair from the balcony but the room is quite large (good!) and could easily accommodate 2 small easy chairs. Room service not available until 6pm - not helpful for business guests working from room. Internet slow (but it is a remote area - speed was adequate for the Kimberley). Restaurant was only open for breakfast - evening meal was in noisy pub. Staff were friendly & helpful, breakfast excellent, evening pub food was, well, the usual pub food. Pub service prompt, efficient and helpful, smiling staff (big plus!!).

Very disappointed on the first night of arrival where there was no restaurant open so as to have a meal after a very long day traveling. Instead I was directed to a pub around the side where I was able to charge my meal to the room but the steak I ordered for $39 was nothing more than a piece of minute steak not cooked the way that I was asked to have it cooked.

At Mercure, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Unfortunately during to the low/wet season many restaurants in town close and then re-open during the dry season, however the Irish Pub is our restaurant too (we have 2 onsite) therefore lunch and dinner during this season is served out of the Irish Pub. However i do apologise for the steak and will share your feedback with our kitchen team.
