Due to inclement weather I was booked into the Mercure by the company I work for, Room was clean and comfortable. Food in the bar was good and reasonably priced.

Better breakfast needed for fly in/out workers. Poached eggs Proper free coffee machine would be great. Food at pub was excellent. Rooms are great and staff are welcoming and friendly enough. Overall a nice stay.

« The room was dirty, noisy and very tired. The place needs a majorupgrade/overhaul »

Not impressed. The standard rooms are past their used by date. Very tired, outdated and I found my room to be dirty - "stuff" on the bedsheets, dirty "clean" towel, dirty towel hanging behind the bathroom door, dirty shower. I don't mind simple and basic rooms but rooms that are not clean are totally unacceptable. In addition to this, the room was noisy (title floor probably contributed to this) and the walls are too thin - I could hear far too much of what was going on in the room next door. Any upgrade needs to seriously consider soundproofing of the windows and walls. And the other patrons staying in the standard rooms were noisy and inconsiderate of other guests. After being woken up by the people next door, I had to step outside my room at 2 am and yell at them to "keep the noise down" so that I could sleep. They were having a loud deep and meaningful outside my room. Really? This was reported to reception upon checking out. I won't be staying here again and have requested that my organisation book me somwhere else to stay in future. A totally regrettable and forgettable experience...

« Good value hotel »

The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing and so helpful. Organised tours and went out of their way to help out. The room was ok for the price except the bathroom never had a fan and was so hot and humid and broke into a sweat after showering. The outdoor pool area was not inviting at all with hardly any shade or inviting lounge areas to enjoy the pool. Breakfast finished at 9am which was to early when on vacation and catered more to the local workers than the tourists. The Irish bar/restaurant was nice and good food excellent. Was happy with gift I received being a platinum Accor member but unfortunately couldn’t get an upgrade due to twin beds which was a pity.

Flew in late and was handed a sandwich for dinner! Was suppose to get a $50 meal allowance. If the chef can’t stay back then alternative food needs to be arraigned eg Pizza! Anything would of been better than a stale sandwich and a soggy salad!

Please can you have bottles of water available in the rooms as I forgot to get one from reception, went down later in the evening but all was closed down there and water was warm out of the taps.
