Hotel is in very poor overall condition and badly in need of a complete revamp! we lost 5 of our group to other hotels in Broome. Front desk staff AND Breakfast senior staff very good,they did everything to assist including late checkout etc. Maintenance VERY POOR! Cleaning leaves a lot to be desired, found drug needle under bed in unit, manager needs another job or severe wake up call. Sorry, but that's the truth, no recommendations from our group.

Hotel is run down. Everything felt old and stale. Everytime we sat on the bed it craked loudly which sounded like it was going to break - definitely no hanky panky for us that night! The bathroom benchtop was particle board which was cracked / opening at the seams and the rough edges kept catching on the towel and my clothes. Shower tiles had a hole in it. Towels didn't smell fresh. The room was dark and small. Buffet breakfast was average. I was expecting more from the Mecure and was sadly disappointed.

· I felt the location was very good, it was peaceful and also quite. Close to main township. If you had your own transport, the parking area was plentiful. The room was clean and tidy. · The first thing I noticed was ants on the shelving. I looked at the entrance door and there was no barricade at the bottom, you could see through to the outside. Bathroom was laid out for wheelchair access, that means no permanent partition around the shower- wrap around curtain only. Permanent shower seat attached to the wall. No ventilation fan, smells lingered in the bathroom along time. The room was great for the disadvantaged, but I didn't request it or expect to even see it. I tried to do some reading on the bed, found the only bright lights were on the bedside tables, no bright overhead lighting.

I don't usually complain but this hotel was absolutely awful in so many ways. Myself and two colleagues travelled to Broome for 5 days/4 nights and due to budget restrictions we had to stay at the Mercure Broome. I had read the reviews on Tripadvisor which were none too pleasing but hoped that my experience would be better than what others had posted...sadly that wasn't the case. In each of our three rooms there were issues, one had a bathroom that smelt like a rat had died in the drain pipe and the air conditioner smelt atrocious when she turned it on, my other colleague had black mould on her pillow and when she told the girl cleaning the room about it she didn't seem to find it a bit deal and just replaced the pillow with another unhealthy looking pillow. My room had ants everywhere that got into sealed containers of food so anything I bought needed to go straight in the fridge otherwise the place was crawling with thousands of ants. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and lumpy The bathroom was clean but really outdated however was probably the nicest part of the room. Location was good In all honesty, apart from one hotel in the middle of Kuta that was a complete nightmare, this hotel is by far the the worst place I have ever stayed in, nationally and internationally.

I was happy with my room, especially as I got a free upgrade. Nice and spacious, comfy bed, everything I needed. Didn’t use the pool or restaurant but both looked great.

The fact that we were informed upon arrival that this was the end of the season and therefore the restaurant was closed in the evening. The standard of the alternatives was not to our liking forcing us to explore further for a place to eat. The room was not up to Accor standard to the point of no glasses and an empty fridge! The quality of the room was also not up to the standard that Accor presents elsewhere. We were very disappointed to say the least.

Very plain and nothing special. Dated and small rooms although they are clean. Staff are not very helpful and were even rude on occasions. Not good value for money. Minimal secuity with car gates not working and being left open overnight. Will not be returning.

Although the sheets were clean, we had 3 rooms, one had a moldy pillow, the other an ant problem and the 3rd had a very bad smell from the shower drain.

We had booked the room for the day as we had a late flight out of Broome. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had a relaxing time at the pool and all the facilities in the room we needed. Unfortunately their restaurant didn't open in time for us to get a meal there before leaving but the reception staff happily phoned to check at another restaurant for us. Its an older property but very clean.

Frustrating trying to get cell phone access even using my own Australian phone. Using free wifi in the room was 0%. Despite reporting the issue nothing happened. It was clear to us reading previous comments and talking to current residents that we were not alone with this problem. In our room there was a cupboard and drawers but could not open the right hand door enough to use the drawer due to side table. Only one bedside light.

We loved the great service for breakfast particularly the attention to detail as one of the guest travelling with me was requiring gluten free .... staff were most attentive The towel service was excellent The disappointment was with the laundry it was very dusty and dirty as we needed to do washing Pool was lovely staff were polite and nice and very helpful
