It was a pleasant stay the only thing that i would say is that the food was not as i expected, disappointing at times & i feel that it could be better, having spoken to some guests who stayed at the Mercure 4 years ago they said that the food then was superb.

A very nice complex of separate villas, each housing about 10 rooms on 3 levels. Three pools of different sizes plus its very own private beach with two small gulfs, one shallow and one deep. Right across the lovely Hurghada aquarium. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good food selection and enough space.

The Location of the Hotel was very good. In the centre of the city connecting many highways where you can skip traffic. Breakfast has vast varieties and good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The family rooms are amazing, great space and have all you need. Struggled to get an iron and ironing board (this took 2 days and we were then told we couldn’t keep it for more than 24hrs). The food was ok some days were great with bbq in the evening some days were bland and could get boring. The pools and entertainment in the evening were great! The animation team were friendly and fun. Booked a manicure facial and hair cut at the beauty salon which I regretted!.. hair was cut with kitchen scissors and was uneven, manicure was messy and she spoke to me throughout the facial trying to sell me the scrub, so it wasn’t relaxing at all. I think she was unqualified. So overall it’s a good basic break away for about 10 days but not the best

We always prefer Mercure Hotels on our trips.The Mercure in Hurgada didn't dissapoint us.It is organized very well.We thank all the staff.The food was good enough.Room was clean and comfort.The houskeeper of our room no;2214 was perfect.The animation team was very good.We enjoyed their shows a lot.Thanks to;Masha,Lisa,Georgina,Marian,İbrahim,Romeo and all other staff.Thanks to front desk staff Ahmed.We enjoyed our stay and are planning to visit next year again.

In general the stay was good, beach is great, pool was warm, room was clean and comfortable, staff in the pool bar, restaurant and lobby bar good. The breakfast was terrible, 2 kinds of cheapest not eatable sausage, 3 kinds of plastic cheese, coffee too strong and is this small mugs. Dessert by lunch and dinner always the same cakes, just with different colours. By Arabic night there were Egyptian sweets, which were tasty. The food choise is not big, daily same items, but you can always find something. In the room there is a kettle, but no tea and no coffee, that is weird. Big plus, the juice for cocktails is from packets, not from powder mix, and the ice cream was tasty. The sailors on the beach are disaster, daily same questions, or they could stop and scream loud to each other, and they sure do not see that the person is sleeping actually. Animation during the day have a feeling that they are forced to do anything, the shows I didn't visit. In general not bad vacation

Although the ambiance was very good, i am seriously disappointed with the quality of the food served in Mercure Hurghada. Quality doesn't match 4 stars hotel in any way and i've been reading the same complains online since, at least, 2017. This is a seriously management problem or lack of it! How is this possible? People complaining for years which replies from management were received shortly after but everything remains the same?! My friend got a bad stomach bug in the last day of our stay! The only dinners that were kind of acceptable were on Monday and Friday night.

My short stay at Mercure Hurghada was positive throughout. I was greeted with friendliness by reception, my room in the hotel was fantastic and I loved the set up of the hotel. The pools and the beach were spotlessly clean, the restaurant had a great variety and choice of food and the extra activities available, e.g. massage at the spa by Heba were brilliant.

We enjoyed the overall hotel layout. The beach had good choices of sun lounger. The over selling of massages and grooming was disappointing. We are older travelers and this should be accounted for. The entertainment while enthusiastic lacked an experienced professional presenter. The Mic announcing was very difficult to understand.

Thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at this hotel, the staff are so helpful and friendly particularly the waiting staff. we have to make special mention to (El)Hussain, Mohammad in the main restaurant and also Mohammad in the snack bar who were exeptionally happy and helpful. We also enjoyed the attention of the animation team again I have to make special mention to Jimmi, he is awesome also, Georgina, Mado, Felix, and Amy. The hotel was, as last time, spotlessly clean and the food varied and plentiful. We visited the Italian restaurant and Asian restaurant as part of a large family group and both experiences were fantastic. We will definitely return.

excellent staff three people stood out both these cleaners mr mohamed fahmy and khaled elsayed were excellent workers and a credit to housekeeping no prompting they just got on with the job and did it perfect indeed faultless .and the the third one of the staff is angela customer relations who helped us over and over, thanks to her
