I'm an old customer in accor since 1998 when it was Sofitel, I liked the atmosphere of SOfitel or LE Mercure Hurghada. in my last stay in LeMercure Hurghada, there was improvement in: 1) Animation team performance which one of the most special character of this hotel. 2) Quality of food tast is getting better. 3) Hospitality fro reception team especially Mr; Hazem (morning shift). There was some backing awain the following: 1) Number of seats available on the beach is less than guests number. 2) Number of beach guys (helpers) is almost no one. 3) Quality control (QC) is not enough on the services submitted to the guest. 4) Level of some of the guests is questionable, may be due to type of contracting between hotels and some organizations, but if the level continued like this the hotel my lose a lot of custumers

« Failed my expectations in some areas. »

I did have a problem with room service and warehousing service. Also beach is too crowded to find a place to enjoy the beach. Thankfully I had a discussion with Mr. Hossam Hosny -resdiant manager- after one of the escalations.

Hotel with excellent facilities and price. Really good. But the quality of the food in the main restaurant is unfortunately not so good. So I will most probably not come back. I would have preferred to have paid 10% more with a better food quality.

The only staff that spoke to us the entire stay were reception if we spoke to them, or security when we walked past.. no animation, no ‘hello’ nothing. Even when we checked out they barely spoke a word and didn’t even ask if we enjoyed our stay?!?!?!

Very nice architecture and lay-out. Good beds. Good beach with great snorkling and nice swimmingpools. Appreciated the room upgrade to nice sea view. All-inclusive restaurant okay, but not very inspiring, except on oriental night. The table cleaning staff were extremely efficient and pleasant. Room cleaning generally arrived too late (after 4 pm) until we found out to hang the “please make room” on door knob. Activities could be advertised better - plenty of signs in German/Russian, but not in English/French. Reception worked well. Wi-fi not satisfacory - only in reception lobby and unreliable.

My room was really big, nice bathroom and I was lucky to have a sea view. Pools lovely and decent temperature and enough sun beds! Thing that stops it being a very good experience is the food quality on the buffet in the evening. Certain nights like the Bedouin night were good, and I paid to eat the Thai menu and enjoyed my included meal in the Asian restaurant. But some of the other main meals were a bit bland - salad and fruit good though. Cooking for so many is difficult but maybe more fresh cooking and different world foods? Additionally wifi really poor standard even in reception. For a 4 star hotel it should be better - wifi works at boat area so the signal is good enough in the area.

« Lovely Break With The Family At Mercure, Hurghada »

We had a great stay at Mercure, Hurghada. The hotel is spread well and had enough pools and a beach to keep my family entertained. The kids loved the childrens pool and the beach especially. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, made a lot of effort with my children which made us feel looked after. The chef even said if there was anything we wanted to let him know, he would try and get it made for my son who is a fussy eater! All the restaurant staff were great to be fair. Only a couple of things i think the hotel can improve on, 1/ wifi in rooms at least. (Foyer only and shisha bar). Free advertising for the hotel if people are always putting pics on social media. Win win id say. 2/ too much beef choices in the buffet, could do with a bit more choice. Im happy to go back soon, and will look forward to the next time. Thankyou to all the staff and the duty manager who took time to speak to me about our stay.

Crowded hotel by German and Ukrainian families. Typical resort hotel. Small beach with coarse sand. Small coral reef just few meters from the beach. I liked the buildings scrounged by gardens. Clean rooms and nice staff. Far away from Hurghada town. Don't take a cab from hotel. Better just take one from the street outside the hotel. No Internet outside the lobby!

We appriceated the stay very much. The room was nice and the room-keeper was nice and skillfull. We really liked the way he served us and all his towel-skultures. (room 1706) The food was good, and the staff nice and helpful. The only thing that could reach higher levels was the Entertainment 21.00.

Nice place, coffee in bars not seems like coffee at all it’s almost filtered water, you need to more care about housekeeping in room above balaconey currents there is spidered web the sofa was dusty the bed sheet and bed sides stained. Floors corners, not feel any kind of welcoming with the check-in maybe because of Russian animator makes the check in for meFood and beverage are nice specially Mostafa in main restaurant

Enjoyed it more than most alternatives out there with same star rating. Friendly staff, and true hospitality. Loved the landscape, and the place is really pleasent to the eyes. Pool is nice, yet better be more heated than that. Food is average, and comes with variety. Better offer less items and higher quality. Rooms are nice, clean and comfy. Will definitely come back.
