The room was large enough, location is also good, close to both gare and the attractions. But considering the service, the hotel is significantly overpriced... the room was cold and even we told staff that we are freezing in the room, nothing changed. Next time I try another hotel.

Location is best, easy walk from train station and to city attractions. Comfy room and bed.Friendly reception. Parking €12 for 24 hrs in a public parking building nearby.

I am a regular guest ( EP sessions). The hotel is very functional, rooms always immaculate. This is a three star hotel so rooms are very small, there is no bar etc but the overall standard is excellent even if the price is far too high during the EP sessions. A special word about the front desk receptionist (Thibault?). He is exceptionally friendly and helpful. He offers far better customer service than the receptionists at the 5 star Sofitel where I also regularly stay.

I was disappointed that the benefits of Gold Accor membership weren’t offered. I had to ask for drinks voucher and did not receive Welcome Gift at all. Bar area is a small corner of reception and not appealing for having a drink so we had one drink and left. French Accor hotels should join the rest of the world and provide drinks for all guests in the room. It is really mean to only offer drink to member when the second drink would only cost the hotel €1-€2. Considering the high room rate for this hotel a second drink is justified and stops loyal members feeling insulted. I know French properties have the discretion to do this but they should fall in line with the rest of the world.

Ours stay was for two nights. This hotel interior design in the breakfast and the lobby area are just wonderful. Its so artistic in nature and so nicely organised, that we felt like visiting a museum of contemporary art. The breakfast is also awesome! The french-toast ..is the best we have ever had. The cakes, egg-items..are all very delicious. There are three different types of pillows for every guest in the room and we found them so comfortable!Now comes the critic part: - the room is small. The toilet is designed in an awkard way: the comod is too close to the wall to sit on it properly. No shades/cover/glass-wall around the bath-tub... water spills out always. Handsoaps should be liquid. The staffs are OK, but there are some "but"s! We were given a drink-gutschein for "one" person, although we should get for two persons. From Saturday evening till end of Sunday only a security staff was present at the reception-who is not that much well-trained to handle guests. The first day at around 10:30 AM we hanged the "Do not disturb (was also in french) sign on the door." But still the room-cleaning service entered the room. When we showed them the sign, they shouted at us in french (which we do not understand) and showing us their handwatch. Next day morning we hanged the "do not disturb sign" and also put all our luggages infront of the door to block it so that the room service can not suddenly open the door. Its horrific. the reception also dont care it at all.The most negative warning about the city Strasbourg is: this city has no money exchange. So tourists from non-"Euro" countries should buy Euros before stepping inside this city. Otherwise they have to beg around the city streets like many others.

« My Visa has been charged two times »

The overall experience was pleasant except the payment. I have discovered one day after that the hotel charged two times my stay. I had no opportunities to talk with somebody of the Platinium assistance. They answered me with a list of documents to provide. No excuse no trust no assistance for the client. May I have to choose another hotel channel after all these years of loyalty. I have no words and still waiting to be reimbursed eventually with a message of excuses.

Everything went as planned as is always the case in this hotel. The only minor incident was liquid soap shortage in the bathroom . I think that the refills should be a bit more frequent. The staff is always very friendly and helpful !
