« Our stay was adequate, but not especailly good. »

The reception clerk was very pleasant and tried to be helpful, but she seemed unable to tell us whether the bed in the room she offered was a Double, Queen or King size. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent, but apart from the supervisor, the staff seemed very confused, perhaps new to their jobs. We were told the restaurant opened at 7:00 pm, but at 7:10, we ha to request someone from the front desk to inquire where the staff was. The free Wi-Fi was inconsistent in strength and availability. There was virtually no information in the room about hotel facilities. The bed was very comfortable.. Altogether a mixed experience, easily bearable for the one night we were there, but unlikely to encourage a longer stay.

« Very good »

Good room though it was furnished with a single cot that took up part of the space--not sure why! Breakfast a bit chaotic since we had ordered the small breakfast and the cafe was closed. We had to promise not to eat too much! That was a strain!

« Good hotel, but inefficient problem handling »

I booked this hotel on 14 April 18 with the website room description that this room has an A/C. However when I arrived, the A/C was not operational and I decided to open the windows instead as it was still cold outside. Later on about 22:00, a car alarm went off periodically and I asked if the hotel can do something about, but the hotel staff said that it is usual and will turn off in about an hour where it eventually turned off around midnight. I asked to change the room as it was really annoying with the alarm going on and off, but the reception asked if the room was already used so I said that I already took a shower so the reception said there are no rooms available tonight??? I also did check the Accor website and it lists there are all types of rooms available that night so I don't understand why was my situation was poorly taken cared of. Then about 03:00 I was woken up due to mosquito bites around my legs, arms and face. I then had to go to the reception to ask them to turn on the A/C but they said they dont have A/C at the hotel???? I said that I cannot sleep with the windows closed as has no air circulation inside (the A/C and fan did not work at all) The staff on-duty then went inside the office to hand me a table fan. I wasn't really satisfied with the hotel and problem solving skills of the staff at all, they should have not posted that the hotel had A/C at all. A note that there is a Ibis hotel near Novotel, but I booked Novotel as thinking that it will provide better rooms and service, but everything was a disappointment.

We booked a night at the NOVOTEL at the last minute due to flight problems (strike in Paris). It was ok as excepted: nice bed, nice bathroom and a baby bed for our girl. The breakfast was fine.

« Pathetic »

I stayed in your hotel for one night. Two things really annoyed me during my stay and that was to the extend of my disappointment. 1. When I checked into the room and entered into the toilet i noticed that the toilet was dirty (remains of someone used in the toilet was seen) and I had to flush and clean as I am in the urgency. This is my first of lifetime experience. Haven't seen in 2 star or 3 start B&Bs this kind of experience. I informed this to your person in the reception and she said a word sorry. No follow up after that. 2. We were extremely hungry and ordered food in your restaurant. The steak which was served was another disaster. It tasted nothing. Looks like you are using the frozen one or low quality meat. I informed about this both these instances to your staff and I was told a sorry. End of the day, I pay for a better quality of service and you throwing some nonsense and claiming it as service. Will never ever stay with my family in your hotels and will ever recommend anyone.

I really don't understand who could install a glass door in the washroom. There is 3 cm gap between the glass door and the wall. What a brain design! If one person goes to the washroom all others can hear and smell. The executive sweet we had is for one person only.

« Noise from other guests all night long - very unpleasant »

My husband & I booked this hotel due to the close proximity of the airport as we had a 6am flight out the next morning. We were hoping to use the shuttle service the night before when we arrived but were told we had to book it 5-6 days prior so took a taxi instead. The shuttle didn’t run early enough in the morning so again we had to take a taxi. The biggest issue with our stay was that there was the noise inside the hotel. There were other guests running up & down the halls, slamming doors & screaming all night long. We tried to get to bed early but the noise continued until around 1-2am. I called the front desk & they told me they would check in the noise but it never stopped. We got very few hours of sleep before our international flight the next day. Very disappointing that there are not better means to control noise in this hotel. Will not stay here again or recommend this hotel.

Excellent cost-benefit just a few minutes away from the centre of Florence. All the quality of the Accor hospitality without the cost of a hotel in the center of Florence. Shuttle service every hour to and from the main train station (Santa Maria Novella) in the city center.

It was nice and clean. Localization perfect for our needs (we didn't go to Sesto for sightseeing but for business). Competent service. Not so much space in parking lot in front of the hotel, but plenty around.

« Very noisy due to construction work within the hotel »

I stayed for six nights. On arriving I was told their was construction work being carried out. I must say the staff did everything possible particularly Christina and the restaurant manager who helped me move room twice. I feel that with this level of work the hotel should have closed. The noise was terrible. Other guests felt the same. The rooms were fine as was the service. In this instance I believe management made the wrong decision to subject customers to this.
