We booked a night at the NOVOTEL at the last minute due to flight problems (strike in Paris). It was ok as excepted: nice bed, nice bathroom and a baby bed for our girl. The breakfast was fine.

I stayed in your hotel for one night. Two things really annoyed me during my stay and that was to the extend of my disappointment. 1. When I checked into the room and entered into the toilet i noticed that the toilet was dirty (remains of someone used in the toilet was seen) and I had to flush and clean as I am in the urgency. This is my first of lifetime experience. Haven't seen in 2 star or 3 start B&Bs this kind of experience. I informed this to your person in the reception and she said a word sorry. No follow up after that. 2. We were extremely hungry and ordered food in your restaurant. The steak which was served was another disaster. It tasted nothing. Looks like you are using the frozen one or low quality meat. I informed about this both these instances to your staff and I was told a sorry. End of the day, I pay for a better quality of service and you throwing some nonsense and claiming it as service. Will never ever stay with my family in your hotels and will ever recommend anyone.

I really don't understand who could install a glass door in the washroom. There is 3 cm gap between the glass door and the wall. What a brain design! If one person goes to the washroom all others can hear and smell. The executive sweet we had is for one person only.

« Noise from other guests all night long - very unpleasant »

My husband & I booked this hotel due to the close proximity of the airport as we had a 6am flight out the next morning. We were hoping to use the shuttle service the night before when we arrived but were told we had to book it 5-6 days prior so took a taxi instead. The shuttle didn’t run early enough in the morning so again we had to take a taxi. The biggest issue with our stay was that there was the noise inside the hotel. There were other guests running up & down the halls, slamming doors & screaming all night long. We tried to get to bed early but the noise continued until around 1-2am. I called the front desk & they told me they would check in the noise but it never stopped. We got very few hours of sleep before our international flight the next day. Very disappointing that there are not better means to control noise in this hotel. Will not stay here again or recommend this hotel.

Excellent cost-benefit just a few minutes away from the centre of Florence. All the quality of the Accor hospitality without the cost of a hotel in the center of Florence. Shuttle service every hour to and from the main train station (Santa Maria Novella) in the city center.

It was nice and clean. Localization perfect for our needs (we didn't go to Sesto for sightseeing but for business). Competent service. Not so much space in parking lot in front of the hotel, but plenty around.

« Very noisy due to construction work within the hotel »

I stayed for six nights. On arriving I was told their was construction work being carried out. I must say the staff did everything possible particularly Christina and the restaurant manager who helped me move room twice. I feel that with this level of work the hotel should have closed. The noise was terrible. Other guests felt the same. The rooms were fine as was the service. In this instance I believe management made the wrong decision to subject customers to this.

« Your restaurant service very very bad »

Hello, I often stay in Novotel airport Firenze . I need to tell someone the service from restaurant that is very very bad ! I never see the Manager smile even I say hello to him ! And when I finish the dinner no people to say thank you and good bye. I must carefully sit down and quiet go away! Usually I need sit to wait 15-20minuts for someone come to write my order . And then tell me your package can’t order this and this.., same people when we have breakfast I want order one espresso, I never get it ! He always like forget it’s .and I don’t why he knows English but he always speak Italian with me . I know he know English and I don’t understand Italian. He give me a bad experience from your hotel! That why usually I don’t eat in your hotel except i must go in . Anyway next time I have changed hotel because of him . Left him there. Because I don’t want to see him again

I spent 2 nights at this Hotel for private reasons. The Hotel is conveniently located close to the Autostrada and Airport. The reception personnel is very customer oriented, check in/out was quick, room clean and parking free. Price was excellent.

Novotel Tuesday January 2, Firenze airport Novotel represents a more than medium level in the Accor group and therefore guests have certain expectations when staying at a Novotel. On January 2, 2018 I checked into the Novotel Firenze Nord airport hotel, Italy. The room is ok, but there arecquite some remarks to make on the rest as follows: 1.Welcome letter: As a platinum card holder I receive a warm welcome in Accor hotrels all over the world with a welcome letter, some fruit, if possible room upgrade, newspaper and such kind of things. At the Novotel my arrival passed unnoticed. 2. Breakfast: - In general poor selection of food, especially a poor selection and a poor quality of bread. - cold boiled eggs, I mean real cold coming from a refrigerator. Many much lower price hotels than Novotel present fresh boiled hot eggs, even with choice soft or hard boiled. When mentioning this to the supervisor he replied that someone burned his hand some time ago during egg boiling and that now all Novotels don't have fresh boiled eggs anymore??? I will not even comment on this explanation. - an hour before closing time the heating was switched of, in the last half hour it felt like I was sitting outside. A bad way to chase away guests. 3. Shower: very small shower with a dangerous handle for temperature control: a few millimeters turning and the temperature changed from cold to boiling hot. This looked a lot more dangerous than the boiling of eggs. The bath tubs are high, small and do not have any handle making it dangerous to get in and out. 4. elevator parking. Use of the underground parking of the hotel is being charged, but lacks an elevator to the inside of the hotel. Guests have to leave via the emergency exit , up a stair and walk outside to the hotel entrance. As you don't expect this you have to carry all your luggage with you of course. 5. I asked a last check out (16:00 hours) which is one of the priviliges of gold and platinum card holders. I was told by a female staff member that the hotel was fully booked and therefore 16:00 was not possible. When I checked on the internet however I could easily book the same room type I had ( for 3 people). When confronting the reception with this the late check out was granted. This should not happen at a Novotel

« Great hotel for reasonable accommodation prices »

The hotel rooms were cleaned each day and with ample space which was very much welcomed by us. We knew the hotel was out of the centre of Firenze but it proved to be quite rudimentary to travel back and forth at specific times later in the day. This left us with no option but to rent a taxi, on a number of occasions, via 055 4242 which proved to have non-streamlined supplementary prices when exiting the city centre areas. That said, transport issues were also acceptable. What was quite disappointing was the Breakfast and Dinner offerings. The breakfast for €7 per person which prohibited us from taking anything other than a stale croissant and a caffé, was quite off-putting, considering some days before we had been told €7 package included other food items available, excluding the salumeria section. At one point we needed to make use of the restaurant but again the food quality left much to be desired. Bisteccha served was full of chewy fat (inedible) parts and the pumpkin starter tasting like it’s been ready beforehand. Overall disappointed by the food service but that aside we don’t like complaining as the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms were always clean and tidy including full replenishment of bathroom items every day. We hope to visit once again in the future. Regards and thank you for your help.
