« Disappointing! »

Mistake apparently made with reservation and and it had been made for one person. We are a couple. We were immediately told there would be no free breakfast for the second person and we would be charged extre for the room. This was a very poor 1st impression of your hotel. The response should have been "no problem at all, here is your room key, enjoy your stay and breakfast service starts at 6:30am. There was no mention of other services available eg. restaurant. Room was very good and service in the bar excellent! In the morning one of us had breakfast, we refused to pay for the 2nd breakfast (we ate at the airport) and ordered a cab to the airport as the 1st shuttle was not early enough. The cab ordered by your front desk charged 24 euros for the trip that was less than 10 minutes...cab fare from downtown Florence to the airport for 4 passengers and 4 bags was less than 27 euros. We were ripped off! If your company would like to keep me as a client I expect an apology and restitution. PM M.

« Executive Waste of Money »

I booked an executive room in this hotel to get those little extra bits. The bed was the same as the standard room, the sofa was so large it took any spare space in the room there was. The bathroom upgrade was stupid. The transparent door had such a big gap there was no privacy for the toilette usage. I ended up moving to a standard room and was not even offered a bottle of water for the extra money I had paid and wasted. The staff is OK and did the best to help. Whoever approved the upgrade needs getting fired.

« An expensive dive the '90s »

The structure is dated, furniture as old as the worn carpeting of my room. 5 to 10 minutes for a slightly warm water to reach the shower. The moldy tube protected by a stained curtain. Hotel advertises "Services and leisure activities for families" when, in fact, is in the middle of an industrial zone with nothing available at walking distance. This for having chosen the cheapest option for that day: 100Euro/day! Being a traveller by job and having a lot of experience of hotels worldwide, I was expecting more for that price. Positive note: Hotel personnel was nice and friendly.

« UNDERSTAFFED »

This was a nice hotel and our room was great, the staff at checking in and out were nice and very helpful. The dining experience , I do not want to experience again, the food was just awful. The staff were lovely but run off their feet. We then went to the bar and one of the waitress's was also behind the bar and we kept seeing her disappear back into the dining room. They ran out of white wine, offered us local white wine then said they also had prosseco so we ended up with that. The waitress was apologetic but it wasn't her fault. Location was good for what we wanted it for.

« very good rooms, very poor service at breakfast »

The hotel lobby and room is at the common high level. Check in guy welcomed us quite well and gently. Room very clean and appropriately equipped considering we were 2 adults and 2 kids. Breakfast had good choice and variety of food (sweet and salted) but table and restaurant were very dirty. Lack of management of waiter who didn't check guests, didn't clean tables (by just accumulating dishes over nearby tables), try to not be reachable for any order. X-Box didn't work. At least nice to have the ping pong table. Bar professional and efficient. We had a problem with the invoice as nobody was able to print it. I just received it, via email, one day later but with wrong date (now asking for a re emission of it). Check out: not well trained (both technically and relational) the check out lady.

« Airport Shuttle DOES NOT MEAN what you think it does »

The lobby was decent but the service was not up to par. Once I walked into my room, I couldn't even breathe because of the fumes from cleaning products. The furniture, carpeting and appliances were old, dirty and stunk of improper cleaning. We immediately left to find a different hotel. Not worth being near the airport. On top that, the "airport shuttle" only has three times that it runs, so you're spending money on a cab anyway. Not worth any money.

« Not up to standard. »

Upon arrival at the airport there was no shuttle(apperently you have to book this in advance?and it only runs till 8pm?? Absurd for an airport hotel!) We took a taxi. Check-in in to the room at ca 00:00 i foud the bed EXTREMLY DIRTY, stained bedlinnens with pubic hairs(alot of them) DISCUSTING. I called down, i did not get an apologie. I was told he had no solotion, i could go to an other hotel or i could go and get linnens donwstairs ( at 00:30 really??). I do not understand why I had to go and get the linnens and remove the dirty sheets and make my own bed in the middle of the night? Next day after breakfast i went to the front desk i was told the sheets where not dirty. I was wrong. there are just some spots which the was cannot take out. THAN YOU SHOULD CHANGE THE BED AND THROW AWAY THE DIRTY LINNEN (Still not apologies) i showed the picture of the diry bed. the staff discussed who cleaned the room (this is none of my concern!) it was decided we would get upgraded. And finally the head cleaning lady said sorry! Nothing in a way of apology from the front office.... At check out i was told i only booked for one person (i booked as it was presented at the website so I had no clue) and the additional charges where ca 40 euro's where upon checkin the fo agent told me we'd only had to pay for the breakfast (20 eur in total). You've already messed up my stay and now you also want me to pay more?! What the hell is wrong here? I paid it because i needed to leave this place. Upgraded room was nice. It looks like your redoing the hotel? Best hurry up the other rooms look horrible.

« Very unattentive staff »

The staff at the reception was unattentive and incompetent, it seemed they were too relaxed. The wanted to charge us twice tourist tax, after that they required to pay extra amount of money saying not expaining for what ( we prepaid full amount on the time of booking ). Only when I refused to pay they checked treir computer and then let us go. The room we had needs renovation do the dirty and badly smelling carpet.

« Correct »

+ Room: good looking Internet : good speed, password is easy. - Shower : water exit is blocked, water overflows and goes to the ground... Internet : need to enter password constantly Noise : a small truck for laoding trucks or similar is moving early in the morning, with a strong beep when going in reverse. Extremely annoying Breakfast : poor quality ingredients (bread, cheese,). Orange juice is only the name, and for a real squeezed orange juice : extra to pay 6 euros.

« Many problems not resolved »

This is an airport hotel. As such there are certain important services required. 1. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel was not sent although the tourist office called the hotel and requested it for me. This refusal required me to take a 15 Euro taxi. There were NO apologies from the front desk, after rudely showing me a sign that said they only pick up in the early morning and after 6 pm. I arrived at 2 pm. The shuttle time limitation was NOT printed out in the 4 page confirmation of my hotel reservation. 2. A wake up call is very important at an airport hotel. The wake-up call button and all of the other phone buttons were not working. I had to got downstairs to the front desk to get the information that the automatic buttons on the phones were not working but I should dial 9 for the front desk. 3. I specifically asked for a disablility room with a refrigerator to keep my medications at the proper temperature. The refrigerator was not working, was warm, the entire time of my stay. 4. I prepaid for a 10 Euro breakfast. The first morning I went downstairs for the breakfast buffet. The final day of my stay I put out the information for breakfast in my room the night before at 6 pm. When the breakfast did not arrive the next morning I called the front desk and also found out I was going to be charged an EXTRA 6 Euros for breakfast delivery, although this information was NOT on the card announcing breakfast could be served in the room. This information was only on the Room Service for lunch and dinner card. I canceled the breakfast delivery and brought it up my self to my room. There was only one pleasant experience for the two day stay. The male receptionist (unfortunately I do not remember his name) was extremely helpful to me with getting computer access. 5. The carpet on the floor of the room was filthy. The pool was freezing. The tile on the floor of the poll changing room was slippery and I fell. I am an international scientist and travel often from New York to Asia, Europe and Canada and the rest of the United States. I have often stayed at airport hotels. I have NEVER had such an unpleasant experience.

« One night stay on trip back home »

Room was not very clean: hairs in the bathroom and on toilet seat, a only half-full bottle of water on the table. Hotel Restaurant: low quality food and quite high prices for Italy. You better try to find a restaurant outside. However, the hotel is located in the industrial area, so it might be difficult on weekend and evening. Location: very close to the Highway (2min) and, nevertheless, very quite zone
