« un séjour très agréable »

Overall very positive, the members of staff was very pleasant, my bedroom was very comfortable and above it was very quiet, I could not hear anyting from my bedroom.The breakfast was fine. I did not use the restaurant. I will definitely come back again.

« A nice Hotel and some good aspects let down by couple of small things »

I arrived and had a good check in, ordered room service this was ok though having asked what bread I wanted I was expecting brown bread. THe room was good but the sink was clearly blocked and slightly smelly, would a cleaner not spot this when preparing the room and report to mainteneance surely yes as when running the tap it created standing water without need for a plug. Water temperature a bit tricky to control. Bed far too soft. Breakfast the following morning as hot food not truly hot just warm!

« Great location but average service quality »

The location was great and walking distance to all major attractions in london. How for the price paid, the quality is average. I had issues with my room as the AC was not working, the security safe was broken, USB charging ports were broken. I had complained about this multiple times but no service to fix them. I paid higher for a premium room but there was nothing premium about the room or staff, I think. So if you looking for a great location this is the hotel but if you are looking for great location and great quality then this is NOT the one hotel.

Stayed for new years. No probs at check in. Restaurant and bar busy as expected but still managed to eat and drink. Rooms simple but comfortable. Easy check in.

« Very nice location and place »

Breakfast are good and staffs . But 1 thing in the room. Me and my kids stayed for 4 days and 3 nights . Even 1 single of pillow case is never change. Don’t you mind to change everyday the pillowcases and every another day the sheets??? But the rest were good.

We had a lovely view of Lambeth Palace, if only we could have seen through the filthiest window in London. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Front desk staff were very helpful and attentive, but bar staff didn’t match the same level of service. Bed wasn’t particularly comfortable, and the breakfast was average at best. Usually my Novotel experiences are good, but this one didn’t meet my expectations.

We were only at the Novotel Waterloo for one night to go to a show at the South Bank Centre. We found all the staff to be charming and helpful. Our room was well furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent despite the hotel being extremely busy.

The staff were friendly all through our stay except for the Christmas evening. We had to wait a while for our meal at the bar. I had to go to the bar to pay as we were waiting for a while for the waiter to give us the bill. Any one could have walked out without paying. I suggest having one or two staff more on christmas day evening meal. It will make lot of difference to the service. It was just that evening but other services were very good.

« Generally dissatisfied by comparison »

Location was excellent and the room clean. Upgrade as an Accor memeber is always appreciated. That said, and by comparison to so many stays in the Accor chain the room was terribly outdated with stains on the well-worn carpet and over most of the furniture and room fittings. It looked really tired. The most surprising disappointment, however, was the bed. I’ve never experienced sleeping in a “groove” from the mattress being either too old or not maintained following manufacturers instructions. Where this the case of my own mattress it would surely indicate the need to replace it. If I were staying at at 2 or 3 star hotel I might have accepted that was just part of what you pay for, but this was an Accor hotel, a 4 star option I selected in London Waterloo. My overall dissatisfaction was sufficient enough to warrant completing this review which typically I would ignore or speed through with the end product being much more favorable.

« Hotel was well located and comfortable »

We were there for a special occasion and appreciated the room delivery and that our room was ready after a delayed overseas flight. The location was convenient for visiting London. Room was always well taken care of. Found it odd that there are no face cloths, but no big deal. The toilet paper holder was broken, but I advised the front desk agent at departure.
