Stayed there 8-15 June and plan to go Swan Valley on 11 June with the hop on hop off explorer bus as per Swan Valley Tourist website. 1 day before while browsing website, I chanced upon that bus has ceased operations on 5 Jun. we had to browse alternatives and found Mr Shuttle but could not book online. Ibis duty Manager Jade was very extremely helpful to call Tourist center and Mr Shuttle private group charter to enquire and book for 13 Jun. Saved us from disappointment during our holiday!

The shower wouldn’t turn off properly the hot water kept running

On the Thursday night I had a shower and I couldn’t turn the hot water off properly I called the desk and a workman came and fixed it. Friday night was fine but then on Saturday morning I couldn’t again turn it off. I went to reception and one of the desk staff again turned it off, apparently there was some kind of trick to it, to not turn it off fully . This seemed a bit silly plus the waste of water. It happened again on Sunday morning as by this stage I didn’t want to have a shower in the night in case I couldn’t turn it off and no one was able to help me. On Sunday the receptionist offered for me to change room I didn’t want to do this as it was inconvenient, she once again turned it off using the special “trick “. Hopefully the shower in room 808 is now fixed

Good location that I can acess to travel and everything is in walking distance. Only the room is quite hot. Will be better if can improve the temperature.

Stay for one night, fast checkin and checkout, we got room upgrade and welcome drink voucher. Having dinner in the restaurant the food is great but will be better if the staff in the restaurant more friendly and helpful to the guest. I think better to give short training to the staff about service quality (SERVQUAL) so they can provide excellent service. Thanks Ibis Perth.

Even though the accomodations were tight, the shower was nice and the bathroom mirror had great lighting. Our one complaint was that we had the front desk staff arrange an early morning taxi for us to the airport at a pre-determined price of $44, but the driver ended up charging us $56 when we got there. If we had known that, we would have taken the shuttle bus for $45 instead. Not happy about that!

I requested parking under the hotel but was unable to utilise this and had to use the Wilson car park next door - the issue I had is that the signage states the Wilson carpark was closed for the time period that I wanted to leave, (between 2Am and 6AM) so I had lost a couple of hours working time waiting for the carpark to open.
