Check in lady friendly. Room quite small but adequate for one night - but would be a bit squishy for a long stay. Floor had seen better days, with stains and some worn and replaced carpet. Some marks on walls and some leftover paper in room ( small piece stuck to wall ). No kettle in room - quickly fixed but obviously not noticed when room cleaned. Nice to have small milk in fridge. Beds comfortable, but they moved, which was a bit annoying. Lovely thick towels and nice to have a flannel. Good range of toiletries supplied. Shower pressure good and nice and warm, but shower cubicle a bit small ( my mum is a size 8 so not a large lady and she thought it rather small ). Wi fi worked well. Air conditioner I thought a bit noisy ( but mum didn't ). Could hear the noise from pub / venue below - was not excessive and did not impede sleep, but could hear it. Breakfast adequate - nice to see the vegetarian options marked and the items we had tasted nice. Some pancakes or the like would have been nice. Check out simple. Would have been nice to have some information on parking options or some discounted parking available, as cost us $35 to park in COP parking for less than 24 hours ( have stayed other places where discounted parking available ).

« Rooms not soundproof »

First let me say the room was lovely, bed and pillows comfortable. The restaurant was great for evening meal and breakfast. The downside was our room was interconnecting and the people in the room next door making a racket, taking phone calls, women back to the room till all hours of the morning.....despite calling down to reception. We chose this hotel due to proximity to Her Majesty's theatre. I would not stay again

Overall - the experience was good but just found the front desk staff not paying much attention even though I am a Platinum member - I had to remind then during a couple of small requests I made for water for my room. The guys were good but the female staff I felt were a bit short with their service.

« everything (procedure) is simple, rooms are clean and tidy »

*all went well except the last night (before checking out the next morning) *this is because most electrical sources were cutoff by midnight - hence no TV, as well as making us unable to charge our electric gadgets *only source left was the socket outputs at the fridge/wardrobe area

« Modern & Convenient Hotel »

Hotel is very modern, clean and conveniently located rightnin heart of CBD Perth. Love the convenience around food, amenities and shopping. Improvement can be done in terms of walls between rooms and floors as we can hear our neighbours running the showers daily.

Checking was straightforward. Room was neat, clean and well appointed. I requested receipts for colleagues who had stayed there previously and the counter staff were most helpful in producing these. Checkout , again was straightforward.

« It was ok »

Check in was an average experience. The parking situation was rather bizarre with the only available spot not having a remote, surely a spare one would be obvious? Room Key given to us with no explanation as to what floor or room number. Great having a coffee pod machine in the room, but ONE pod. Really? We were two people surely entitled to a pod each? The shower cubicle leaked all over the floor.

Room was fine but cleanliness of the shower area could have been a bit better. Some minor mould areas. Aircon is loud and poor quality. Television is tiny.

Very good. The breakfast and dinners in the restaurant were of a high standard. Staff were very friendly and accommodating - front desk, restaurant and housekeeping. Being so close to public transport was very important to me.

« It was not bad »

Ive stayed in the ibis plenty of times, its the hotel i stay at everytime i visit perth. My most recent stay came with a scare tho. A power point in my room malfunctioned and had i not acted quickly like i did. It believe it would have started a fire. That whole thing aside i was moved to a different room and the service was the same. I have no issues with the ibis or its service. I recomend the hotel to anyone i know that is heading to perth. And i will continue to choose it over anywhere else.

Had a very pleasant stay at this centrally-located hotel - departmental stores, supermarkets, restaurants are all within walking distance. Check-in and check-out was fast, rooms and linen were clean, beds were comfortable and staff were generally very courteous (in particular Amber & Patrick at the front office). The welcome note from the GM was really appreciated. Thank you all for making this visit a great one.
