Staff all very friendly and helpful. Hotel verging on 3 star motel. Room worn, bathtub stained, only 2 sad pillows on bed (trying to save on laundry costs?!), no body lotion in toiletry range (assume that was cut if it was least used product?), AC VENT CAKED IN DUST - YUK. Breakfast was good. On checkout we left a phone charger in room and full bottle of rose' in fridge. When I called in the evening after we got home, housekeeping had no record of them. hmmm. (Room 815, 9-11 Feb, B.).

« Great service, average hotel rooms. »

The Hotel service is exceptional, staff are friendly and engaging. The Foyer is also well presented and comfortable. The Breakfast staff are friendly and engaging and definitely add a warm welcome to the stay. The hotel rooms do need a spruce up, there is marks on walls and paint missing from walls. The hotel decor is old and bathrooms need a revamp. Having to get a parking ticket from reception every time you want to exit the car park is annoying and time-consuming especially if there is a big group checking out.

Pleasant stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming. In room 220, toilet needs attention. Water keeps running through after flushing. Had to keep tapping the button to stop it.

No complaints at all really. Room was clean and well presented. Used the restaurant twice and found the food and service to be good. I found the key card module in one of the lifts to be a bit touchy - sometimes it simply would not activate.

I stayed for two nights on business. The staff were really helpful and friendly on check-in and check-out. My room was very comfortable and dinner in Senses was good value and enjoyable. It was good to have parking on site.

The irish lady looking after the restaurant/bar was all over it and picked up where I needed help for example putting my bag behind reception (no one offered before) while I was waiting for 2pm Reception gave me access to the internet while waiting for my room The irish chick recommended a very great hairdresser down the road!

« To my expectation »

All good, even if the remot to the TV was not working, I did not borther or have any bigger concern, did only tell when leaving.... ;-) This happens now and then when I stay at any hotel, the batteries to the TV remot are worne out and the remot not working. When cleaning after a check out this can (should?) easely be checked. Just a comment which could raise Novotel above others.

No fridge in my room was disappointing. However the staff did everything possible to rectify the issue. The outcome, in particularly the assistance provided by the young lady at reception at the time was exceptional. They way an organisation recovers from a customer complaint is a great indication of the training and instilled culture. Well done to the Accor team.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming with a can do attitude. All requests were met above our expectations and the breakfast was the best we have experienced for a long time with a very good choice.
