« Great family room at convenient location »

This is the biggest family room we have booked. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. It is a great stopover location right on the motorway although you do not hear it. There is a Courtepaille restaurant next door. Will book again for sure.

« We were delayed by nearly six hours in our arrival at the hotel and even at 02.00 the staff were very helpful and friendly. »

« Overnight stopover point on the way to the Alps. »

I thought it would be a good idea to stay here because of its proximity to the motorway bearing in mind we wanted to be off early the next morning to beat the traffic up to the ski resort. What I hadn't realised was that the hotel is actually part of the service station. The room and cleanliness were what you would expect of an Ibis and the staff were lovely and helpful. Here comes the BUT ... when it came to eating in the evening it was a free for all in the Courtepaille with all the other motorway users and, being French half term, there were many. This meant queuing up for a table and food which was cinderised (fish and chips - how can you go wrong with that???) Breakfast was fine, usual Ibis fayre, but there is nothing apart from a screen to separate the hotel from the service station so people kept wandering in and helping themselves which was a bit disconcerting. I think the website needs to make the actual situation of the hotel clearer.

« Ok. Was 2nd stay, but no points added to my ACCOR account »

Ok but could do with plug in basin in bathroom & better lighting. Also a plug socket in room beside or near mirror for ladies to do hair & makeup. Staff very kind & helpful A phone that works at service station to ring hotel, still not working to call hotel to open gate to get to hotel. A code for gate would help when booking

« Hotel good, access from the west very puzzling »

As described above I had driven down from Calais heading in the direction of Geneva but became confused in gaining access, I eventually decided the easiest way was to return to the motorway and exit at junction 7 and return in the direction towards Macron. To continue my journey the next day I did the same thing, came off at junction 6, did a U turn and headed on my journey towards the Alps. I felt clearer access instructions could have been at the time of booking.

We had several time a “one night” stay with all the family on the road to ski. Ibis Bourg Jasseron is a clean and easy spot for a break between France (Paris) and the Italian ski spots.

« Nice but disappointing as there is no cross over anymore »

Location was chosen because used to be easy stop when going down south. However the cross over the highway has disappeared and it is absolutely not advertised: you end up having to do a 15 km detour!

It was just an eat, sleep, and leave stay but staff was very friendly and helpful. They did everything to find a solution for an error in booking in the wrong hotel location. Access is a bit difficult from being on the wrong side of A40 going to the Alps. Apart from that the room was clean, had good bedding and modern shower room. It met my expectations.

Apart from the hotel being on the wrong side of A40 and having to do 5 miles detour what most annoyed me was when we finally got to the hotel there was no receptionist and no way to contact them. I finally managed to phone the hotel on my phone and I could check in but when I got to the room the key didn’t work, so back to reception and guess what no receptionist. Please also note that there is no secure parking

It's a standard IBIS Hotel, same as many other. Not better but also not worse. The only problem is the isolated location beside the A40 motorway. There is nothing else than this hotel, a restaurant and a coffee bar. If you want to go elsewhere, you need to use the A40, leave at the next motorway exit, and return using the previous motorway access. This is a quite long ride and you need to pay road toll. If you just want to eat, sleep, breakfast and leave, it's ok.

« A great location with excellent customer service »

A convenient location for my journey home from Italy. Great customer service from the reception and restaurant staff. Clean and comfortable room with no noise despite the close proximity to the autoroute. The food was very good in the restaurant and the staff there upheld all the good experiences I have had with Ibis in having my dog with me. This hotel will definitely be my first choice whenever I take this route.

« Breakfast service for which we prepaid was a disgrace. No provisions and grumpy when asked for cereal, eggs and the egg cooker to be switched on!! »

Check in was pleasant and helpful Lady. Room was nice we have stayed before en route to Italy. We had prepaid 2 breakfasts. When we went to breakfast at 7.30am there were empty cereal containers, 2 boxes of coco pops, no eggs to boil, the egg boiler was not switched on, no cutlery and no sliced bread to toast. The cold meats and ham were depleted too. When I asked the lady for eggs she said no eggs. I then said I wanted refunds as no breakfast. She grunted and walked away. 10 minutes later she returned with 2 red sealed containers full of eggs, she then filled the egg boiler with a ray of cold water and in doing so slopped it all over the remaining bread. After 20 minutes I managed to cook a boiled egg which was raw as the water needed 20 minutes to reach boiling point. Another 10 minutes I managed a boiled egg from the cooker, the whole breakfast took over an hour! We left late because of this I await your reply comments and refund Michael O.
