The level of service offered was poor, particularly after arriving from a long drive. I was told I could not use a baggage trolley and was sent to a far off car park to walk my bags back in from (500m).

Terrific location for our requirements. Loved the view. Room was clean, well presented & well serviced. Breakfast & downstairs area fantastic. Staff fabulous. Especially the lady in charge of breakfast on Sunday was brilliant.

I had a great experience, except the breakfast staff was a bit rude, and not only one morning but every morning. Compared to the very friendly and helpful reception staff, this felt a bit weird. Facilities: I had a nice view, but my blinds were broken and I could not enjoy it. I had told the reception staff who promised to have it fixed, but it wasn't done for two days and then I left.

« Nice family getaway, but.... »

A nice family getaway, but several problems during the 24 hours that we were at the Ibis. Booking the room was a n easy process and I found that booking directly through the Accor Hotels website had the same prices listed as the so called budget accommodation sites. I was confused about the car parking arrangements and it wasn't until I had made several phone calls that I finally spoke to someone that actually explained where to park clearly. It turns out that you don't need to book a car park space beneath the Ibis or Novotel, and the Harbourside Carpark beneath the Ibis, which is managed by Wilson, does not have overnight bookings or parking at discounted rates. Ibis do have carpark spaces for $56 per night for those that have booked a room, On the day of check-out that I was told that I could leave the car in the Hotel Carpark until 5pm. This was really inconvenient because I had already made a booking and paid for parking at another location just down the street for the day. I booked interconnecting rooms for my family, but I had to request 3 times for the door between rooms to be opened, I really wondered what the 15 minute request policy is all about as it was at least 4 hours after check-in that the door was finally opened. While the delay in opening the interconnecting door was an inconvenience for us it was fortunate that we were travelling as an an adult family. It would have been a real problem if my children were young and not old enough to be left alone in their own room. The cleanliness of the room was satisfactory, but the room was not as well maintained as the room that I had stayed in at the Ibis Darling Harbour in 2012. A previous visitor had left their toiletry bag hanging in the bathroom, we appreciated that the cleaners left it for us , but we really don't like using other peoples toiletries.

I certainly apologise that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion and there appeared to be some misunderstanding in regards to car parking which for $59 guests going out for the day often leave there cars to collect later that same day. Again I can only apologise that in regards to the delay with the interconnecting door and the delay for this to be opened. I would be interested to know what room number you stayed in regards to the toiletry bag as I will be sure to follow this up with the maid concerned to ensure she did not miss this thinking it was the bag that we store the hair driers in. Just love everything about this hotel. Staff are amazing and willing to help. Early check in from international flight usually possible. Location is the best!! Most amazing breakfast. Rooms are super clean and comfortable. Absolutely no complaints.

when making the reservation we were under the impression when we booked through Wotif that we were receiving free carking included in the price but upon arrival we were told that it was $59 per night. We paid as we needed to park the car. Also upon booking through wotif we thought breakfast was included but was told that was an extra $15 per person. Can’t fault the service or room we stayed in but someone needs the check with other companies what they are actually advertising to customers

Good location easy check in. Starting to look in need of refurbishment . Like the facility to leave bags on day of departure and check out staff very good. Breakfast is at best adaquate but handy if you want to eat at hotel. We left some PJs in the room but when we rang room service had not found them. This was poor I a, sure you could keep property for say 48 hrs. However I would stat with you again.

We had no issues at all during our stay at the hotel. The service was friendly and helpful, the room although small was clean and tidy. I didn't expect a massive room when I did pay a high rate per night. There was nothing for me to pick at and it suited the purpose of our stay perfectly. I was concerned due to the weather about not having a pool but when I was informed that there was a partnership with the hotel next door (Novotel) my concern was put to rest.
