The carpets were grotty in the hall ways. When booking in you ask for cards to pay different things like a security bond for incidentalso. You take a dollar which I get charged for by my UK bank plus using a debit card NOT a credit card you then charge me saying it's the same thing!! You should make this clear before or during booking NOT as I'm stood at your counter having to pay dye to no choice

« Major problem which was eventually resolved »

The wash basin in in the bathroom was blocked . We requested for a change of room but were told there were no rooms available as the hotel was fully booked. Eventually after some pleading a room became available and we moved and the matter was resolved.

« I didn’t stay there but keep getting emails to say that I had a booking. »

Really frustrating and stressful. I rang several times to say booking wasn’t mine. Had my email and phone no. Attached to it. For some reason they still managed to check the person in under my details. I have wasted a lot of time ringing to ensure I’m not charged for this.

For a >$400 per night hotel I would have expected larger and more refined rooms. Based on previous experiences in similar quality hotels I stayed at, I would have rated this is about a $250 per night room.

Ok I really only asked for one service to have a cab for me to go to the air port when I came down she took me to a van and i said I only wanted a cab and she said thats what it was but it wasn't the hired a car and it cost me 55.00 dollars I was quoted a cab would cost around 30 to 35 your desk help screwed me over. As well I was there 2 weeks minus weekends the first week you over charged me andctgan said when I came back you would look after me then I pre booked and it cost me approximately 300 a night but when I got there on line I could have booked for 149 last minute but you did nothing. The only thing I liked was the location I don't feel I received good service at all

We often stay here as the location is so close to darling harbour and close to white bay for going on cruises. The dining room and bar area is an awesome place to catch up and have a few drinks before dinner. The room is nice but the view is perfect looking onto darling harbour. The staff at reception couldnt be any more helpful.

Ideally located base for a sightseeing break in Sydney. Hotel staff were very friendly and professional. Room was clean and well appointed, contained all that was needed for this kind of trip. Hotel bar had great views of Darling Harbour from the outside terrace area.
