« Clean and comfortable »

Close to the Maritime Museum where we were participants in the Wooden Boat Festival. Check in and check out was timely. The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable, as well as the fresh, crisp, white cotton sheets. Our bath towels were new and huge. We will definitely book again in another 2 years.

« Convenient location, lovely outdoor area. »

Stayed 2 nights, pyrmont room overall everything was fine but the fridge motor was very loud, spoke to reception after 1st night, 2nd night was no quieter so we switched it off. Not good if you needed fridge!

I was really happy with a top floor harbour view room. I arrived suffering from foot blisters and the check-in staff member kindly gave me a handful of band-aids to use.

« Lovely view over Darling Harbour and great location »

Just stayed overnight to have a birthday dinner at Darling Harbour. Reception staff were lovely, smallest room I have ever stayed in, breakfast food was not hot and on arrival we had a coffee and a hot chocolate at the bar. I think she forgot to put the chocolate in - undrinkable. The view and location were great.

There was only one problem with the visit. Smoking. I was woken up in the very early hours by the smell of people smoking, it was terrible. I have no idea where it was coming from as there wasn't a smell in the corridor. Thanks

The staff were very helpful and respectful They responded well to enquiries but sometimes lacked local knowledge . The room was clean but very small with no amenities or space to put suitcases or to hang more than four items of clothing Overall it was a satisfying stay

« Great Location, friendly staff, great bar prices and an enjoyable breakfast »

The view from my room was good and was comfortable for me and my son. A daily or nightly stroll around Darling Harbour was very enjoyable and i met people whom were enjoying a meal at the bar near the main entrance to your hotel. « Could have been better! »

Very disappointed when arriving to check in, the receptionist could not find our booking I had booked and paid at least 6 months prior. She then found the booking under a different christian name and address? Her comment was this is most probably the booking, I was not impressed. Either it is or it is not the booking? After about 30 minutes this was sorted out and we proceeded to our room to find that we had been put into a room we did not request we then had to go back to reception to have this corrected. Very frustrating check-in!

« Very average for the price. »

The rooms were very small and the hotel very old and run down There was no room at the car drop off area and I even had to park on the street that night. While waiting in the car drop off area while my wife was booking in I saw a car hit a barrier As we were late arriving the hotel supplied us a meal but we had to eat it in the foyer.

Room was generally clean however it smelled of mould (old carpet having been wet too often via the bathroom?) which made the stay unpleasant.

« The Ibis Darling Harbour was comfortable and the staff efficient. »

I stayed at the Ibis Darling Harbour for three nights and found it to be a comfortable hotel providing easy access to the Sydney International Convention Centre. It is looking a little bit tired in places with rust evident around the door jamb in the ensuite of my room, but it had all the amenities one would otherwise expect.
