« Horrible »

Messy tiny room (apparently an 'upgrade' from a Queen Superior Room? I think this was a lie, as the photos online showed much nicer rooms as the Queen Superior Room). Mould in the shower. Faded worn carpet. Could clearly hear noise from outside, and was awoken by painters and housekeeping both mornings. My legs dangled over the edge of the bed - I'm 6'2'' so I'm not sure how it was a Queen-sized bed.

« Felt like a backpackers not a large chain hotel in key Sydney location »

I’m not sure where to start. The photos on the website are misleading my room did not look that clean & shinny. From the moment that I came off the light rail & couldn’t find it I should’ve known it wouldn’t be great. Check-in they couldn’t have given two hoots yet that was the chance to save first perceptions. Room was disgusting & hadn’t been cleaned properly since the last guest. Breakfast was over charged through the external site I booked on(I paid $30 & for what was on offer i still would’ve been annoyed at paying $20). My shower door leaked & wouldn’t close properly & part of the bracket that fixed the shower head to the wall was coming off & nothing was done the whole stay. Many other things wrong and there is no point filling in because it doesn’t remunerate me for a shocking stay

Located next to the vibrant Pyrmont and Darling Harbour, staying at Ibis couldn't have been easier. Secure and very clean rooms. The bed was really comfy, and the bar and breakfast overlooked darling harbour.

« Good but lots of noise early in the mornings »

The room was ok, it could do with a coat of paint as it was looking very tired. It appears that it was going to get painted sooner than expected as the painters were on the floor early in the morning preparing to do some painting which was very loud from approx 6am.

Close to the Maritime Museum where we were participants in the Wooden Boat Festival. Check in and check out was timely. The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable, as well as the fresh, crisp, white cotton sheets. Our bath towels were new and huge. We will definitely book again in another 2 years.

Stayed 2 nights, pyrmont room overall everything was fine but the fridge motor was very loud, spoke to reception after 1st night, 2nd night was no quieter so we switched it off. Not good if you needed fridge!

Just stayed overnight to have a birthday dinner at Darling Harbour. Reception staff were lovely, smallest room I have ever stayed in, breakfast food was not hot and on arrival we had a coffee and a hot chocolate at the bar. I think she forgot to put the chocolate in - undrinkable. The view and location were great.

There was only one problem with the visit. Smoking. I was woken up in the very early hours by the smell of people smoking, it was terrible. I have no idea where it was coming from as there wasn't a smell in the corridor. Thanks
