For the price, this was an extremely poor quality room. Dated interiors. Poorly designed bathroom. No bench space for toiletries to be laid out. I need to dissemble the basin plug to drain the basin. There was water leaking from the ceiling above the shower. The shower door did not stay closed. The quality of this room was below the standard I would expect from a backpackers accommodation house, let alone from a 'premium' hotel chain. My experience was shared by 4 other colleagues staying in the hotel on the same night. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. My room number was 109.

While the location was great the interior of the hotel was thick with dust, from the top of the tiles in the cupboard sized bathroom to every skirting board and all the edges of the carpets.

The stay was good. It was as expected, nothing more, nothing less. just what an Ibis should be Initial check in was interesting. gent on had a very relaxed attitude and obviously identified I was Accor staff. Would it suit a higher brand. No. Suit an Ibis, yes and it was refreshing

It was fine - for the money the room was compact - nowhere to sit and relax other than on the bed - "desk chair" not where I would relax - I expected a bit more.

« Great Darling Harbour Stay »

We paid to upgrade for a room with a view and so pleased we did - gorgeous views over Darling Harbour. The room was small, but clean and the bed comfortable. Staff were excellent - we arrived early on both occasions of our Sydney stays with the expectation to just leave our luggage, but on both occasions they had rooms ready for us which we were extremely grateful for after long flights/cruise. The buffet breakfast for an extra $15.00 was definitely worth it. Just a small thing - we were leaving for airport from hotel at 6.50am and arrived slightly earlier than the 6.30 scheduled start for breakfast. Everything was already set out, and as there were no staff busy in the restaurant iit would have been nice if we were able to start when we arrived. Apart from that it was a perfect place to stay so close to everything in Sydney.

« Exceptional location, great value but small room »

Fabulous location but small room. Though it had everything you need except a safe. Bed & pillows were extremely comfortable & bath towels were lovely & soft. Very clean, but didn't have hand towels, so used washers to dry our hands. Staff were very friendly & helpful at reception, in the bar & at breakfast. Breakfast was excellent, with a good range of hot & cold food & drinks available.
