Recently refurbished, guest rooms at Mercure Brisbane offer a range of accommodation options to suit all guest requirements, including Superior, Privilege and Deluxe options. During the refurbishment, Mercure and WMK Architecture collaborated to create awarm yet modern space filled with bright colour, which is both inviting and comfortable. The work of local artist Kelly Fielding was also incorporated into the room design, which includes her range of headboards designed to resemble the Brisbane River.

I had a very good experience. Upgraded to a river view room. The staff at check in were very helpful, I can't recall the name of who I dealt with on reception but he was excellent, friendly & helpful. My room was very comfortable & clean & my check out was also very good. Would definately stay hete again

Our stay at the Mecure was absolutely amazing. All the staff from front desk to housekeeping and Bar staff where so lovely and happy. Was a pleasure to stay here and definitely will be staying here again.

Overall it was enjoyable. Staff throughout the complex were helpful, polite and ready to assist. However we were totally and utterly miss informed about parking. we were told at reception that it would cost $36 and that we could come and go for the duration of our stay. On leaving we were informed that it was only for 24 hours. I then had to pay for two days. Not happy and I don't think I would stay there again.

Staff great. Once in a clean room it was good. Comfy beds, good pillows. Terrible parking. Paid for overnight and then the next day my card was charged an Extra $68.00 that I’m now trying to get back

« Motel a little dingy some staff bordering on rude »

Booking and checking in seemed confusing. I confirmed we had 2 rooms booked 4 days prior to arrival - upon arrival only 1 room booked?? Rooms are dark and need better lighting. Rooms seemed clean and well made. Sadly at breakfast in the morning the waiter we encountered was very rude. He actually physically touched and moved my daughters hands to place cutlery down without asking her or speaking to her at all.

Your staff are lovely. Check-in and check-out processes were quick and easy. Room service was easy to organise and the food was delivered in a reasonable time and quite tasty. While the beds in the room (room 303) were fine (although the one nearer the door is definitely nicer than the other), the pillows aren't great - either too squashed or too hard, tbh. The bathroom may be tiny but it's fairly well setup. There was an odd smell, which may be due to the lack of fresh air getting in there very often. I'm not sure if it was an element of being in Brisbane's humidity and heat, but the airconditioning was really struggling - I ended up setting it down to 16 (which I hate doing) but it was stuffy in the room and that barely made a difference as the airflow seemed to make it about half a metre out from the outlet and then just hang there. I realise I could have mentioned this to reception during my stay, I guess i didn't want to be a problem.

Couldn't fault the staff they were amazing. Helping me receive and send an email to my boss so very thankful for that, but we got to our room and the room smelt of smoke . Was quite bad how the cleaners did not smell this i am unsure. The people before us has put a bag over the smoker alarm and still was there. We were given another room which we were thankful. Went for a swim and no towels to use! We did feel very uncomfortable about what was happening around us with another traveler there was cops and ambulance arriving and security guards running around.
