Recently refurbished, guest rooms at Mercure Brisbane offer a range of accommodation options to suit all guest requirements, including Superior, Privilege and Deluxe options. During the refurbishment, Mercure and WMK Architecture collaborated to create awarm yet modern space filled with bright colour, which is both inviting and comfortable. The work of local artist Kelly Fielding was also incorporated into the room design, which includes her range of headboards designed to resemble the Brisbane River.

« Nice accomodation but difficult to get to and poor options for late night dinner »

Friendly staff. Clean and appealing rooms. I arrived late (after 11pm) and it was disappointing that there was only 2 dishes on offer. My colleague ordered the butter chicken and it came with no accompaniments (poppadums) and wasn't that fresh. Complimentary bottled water was a nice touch. GPS can't find access to hotel. Had to go back and forwards between car park attendant and reception to locate my car keys on checkout.

the pictures made this place look amazing but when I walked down the corridor i was shocked that my secretary had even booked this place. I will never stay there again and have given feedback to my company.

We enjoyed our room with a riverview which showed the lights of the South Bank and location was great for us. Breakfast was good and had good selection. Good service from all staff and they were friendly and helpful.

Tania was very helpful and accommodating when I checked into room 1102, and it smelt like cigarette smoke in the bathroom/ coming through vent near door entry, i asked to swap rooms and was changed into 514 with a river view. The food in the restaurant was great at night, I ate kangaroo, rabbit, and it was 5 star yummy. Room service later that night was good eye fillet steak n veg arrived hot. Breakfast at 7:30 was from the buffet was all cold- disappointing as a hot breakfast would have been perfect. Staff were flexible with parking as my hilux with roof racks wouldn't fit under 1.8 height clearance so I could park out the front.

Difficult location to drive to. Poor parking synergy, with no lift access. Rooms look rundown and feel unclean. Simply not up to a 4 star standard. However, restaurant food was sensational, a saving grace. All staff were very professional and did a great job.

« Convenient for conference »

It is very convenient to stay onsite when attending a conference. The room was lovely, comfortable bed and modern bathroom. I used room service for breakfast and the service was good but the process was flawed. When the room was made up the breakfast menu was forgotten, I asked at the front desk and they didn’t have one but could send it to the room, I explained I wouldn’t be back by the curfew to have the menu on the door so they eventually found one which I filled in. I found this hanging on my door when I returned to my room late. Wouldn’t you just send the order to the kitchen? Someone had to get in the lift to the 8th floor to hang it on the door!

We were pleased to be able to check in early. The staff made us feel very welcomed. The room was comfortable and a good size. The buffet breakfast provided plenty of choice and I especially liked being able to make my own vegetable juice. I would definitely stay again

I found the bed extremely firm therefore didn't suit my personal preference for a softer bed. There was a giant toe nail clipping on the floor next to the bed, made me think perhaps had not been vaccumed between guests.
