During the refurbishment, Mercure and WMK Architecture collaborated to create awarm yet modern space filled with bright colour, which is both inviting and comfortable. The work of local artist Kelly Fielding was also incorporated into the room design, which includes her range of headboards designed to resemble the Brisbane River.

Very cosy rooms with lovely river view. Breakfast selection did not disappoint. Carpark was a bit unorganised with no quick access, having to walking in and out from the actual car entrance and hoping no one else was driving in or out the car park at the same time. The fragrance used in the lobby was a bit overpowering, and was just too musty especially for myself as I became ill during my stay. Otherwise short walk to Queens street Mall and the staff very accommodating when I became ill and needed a dial a doctor. The use of a late check out with my Accor club card and face masks were a welcome the day I checked out.

We came to the Mercure to see the Patricia Piccinini exhibition at the GOMA and it was everything we expected. Marvellous exhibit. The hotel is primarily and perfectly situated for Art Gallery and theatres on the Southbank side plus the Queen Street Mall. Bed was great. The only small complaint was choice on the menu in the dining room for dinner ...not a huge choice and could be better.

Overall positive. Didn't spend much time in the room as was attending seminar at the hotel across the weekend. Facilities quite pleasant and great riverside view. Would recommend staying here again.

I had a beautiful room with an amazing view. Your breakfast service is amazing! My only disappointment was that the coffee machine kept breaking but staff were very apologetic. I love your wellness approach at conferences and the conference food was lovely.

The staff, the room, our upgrade were all excellent. The restaurant was a little disappointing. Great oysters but the duck was chewy and not tasty. All the rest was great with a wonderful view.

Room was excellent. Reception crew extremely helpful and friendly. However ... the toilets on the level where the Aaron Sansoni Bootcamp was being held, were absolutely disgusting. Most of the toilet seats were coming off the toilets and the smell (throughout that whole 3 days) was horrendous. Everyone was complaining and screwing their faces up as they walked in and out of the ladies toilets. Was a bit of a shock to be honest. Didn't expect that from the Mercure.

« Very disappointed in Mecure North Quay, nothing like the Pullman. »

After a 19hr day training to discover no hot water was ridiculous. The fact it was barely warm the next morning and they did nothing until my husband complained, absolutely shocked. Considering this was the first of a three night stay I was disheartened. The women's toilets near the conference room were revolting. The smell was atrocious and three of the toilets did not flush. I'm sad to say I'm a Le club member and I'd be embarrassed to recommend this hotel. I had high expectations that it would be similar to the Pullman but sadly no. Some of the staff were really good and very helpful. The late night room service menu sounds good but in reality is not. I ordered pasta one night and it looked and tasted like someone poured out tinned spaghetti on a plate. Unfortunate but you live and learn and I can't see myself returning.

I was at the Mercure for a Conference. My room was lovely and quiet and I had an amazing view of the city. The breakfast is fantastic, only disappointed that the coffee machine broke down on the first day.

It was frustrating as I couldn’t easily add an additional night to my booking. It was set up as 2 separate bookings even though I was in the same room. Door key wouldn’t work because of the 2 bookings scenario even though I left many messages prior to arrival and during the online check in process
