Handily placed near shopping, road rail and sea transport, the harbour with its cruises and ferries and the stadium for all the events and big indoor games, as well as the Tennis centre for the new year tournaments The ideal hotel for so many options . Nicely refurbished.

Staff were friendly though seemed overly busy at times while customers were waiting at counter. Several mistakes were made by staff during our one night stay, room was incredibly noisy though all windows were shut and services were faulty

« Beautiful hotel in a sweet location in Auckland »

The reception area is a bit small and had difficulty on where to park car to drop baggage. Also no one was around to direct us or help with bags. Checking in was good. No issues. The room was lovely but quite small but it had everything. The rooftop restaurant was however the best part of the stay. Good breakfast. Overall a good stay but service could be a bit better. Will be back in future.

It was a pleasant stay. Room was comfortable. Shower water pressure good. Comfortable bed n pillows. The only thing I thought could be better was space to hold toiletries in the shower cubicle. Only a small holder attached to shower fitting that is the size of regular soap dish. Not enough for two guests with their own toiletries. Had to put the bottles on the floor. A retractable towel rail would also be helful to hang wet towels and some light laundry. Otherwise I had a very comfortable stay.

Overall really good. The only issue in the room was the shower and the fact that it would only sit in one position, which wasn't really Ideal as it meant that the water was pointing towards the shower door, and so that no water leaked out the door had to have no slight gap when closed. Also we ordered a 2-course dinner menu and even though the food was great we were confused as to what we could order between the starters and mains as two separate staff told us different things. Overall though a really good night

I was welcomed and made to feel very special on check in. I was wished a Happy Birthday and notified of a room upgrade (just what everyone staying away wants to hear!). When I got to the room , I had a nice ocean view and a handwritten Birthday Card and Dessert! Such a treat.

« Great Hotel for a central stay »

Great central location in Auckland at mid point between viaduct basin and the laneways.Staff were all great and the room seemed fairly newly refurbished. Bed was super comfy and almost to warm.Breakfast is on the top floor with an awesome view out over the harbor area and while breakfast was OK it certainly didnt wow me. You could order an omelette, and you should as its better than the scrambled eggs, but it seemed to take quite a while to arrive. Coffee was good and all the breakfast peripherals were good like juicers, yoghurt, fruit etc. They really need to work on the quality of their hot breakfast.Overall though the stay was good and I would stay here again
