« Grand Mercure Auckland you were fantastic! »

This was the first time we had taken the kids to stay in a hotel and they loved it. The service was fantastic and the buffet breakfast was great, we couldn't have asked for more. The only downfall was trying to find out where to park for check-in and valet parking but once we had figured that out it was fine. We will definitely be recommending you and coming back ourselves one day.

Had an amazing Stay at the Grand Mecure in Auckland. Staff were wonderful and the gifts on arrival were above and beyond! Close to shopping and great food area's and we will definitely be coming back soon.

One word, frustrating! From being charged too much for dinner, nearly twice the price, not having the correct vehicle waiting from valet, being charged two days car parking when only used one day. These were all resolved at the time but should not have happened at all. Another frustration was Evacuating the hotel when the fire alarm went off. There are no floor numbers in the stairwell that we could find. Luckily we came across a Fire fighter who pointed us in the right direction otherwise we would have ended up in the basement. A staff member should have been assisting at the bottom. On a positive the breakfast was great, the room great except for the noise of Britomart. Overall a nice Hotel to stay in and great for being near Spark Arena. We will stay again.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Service, on the whole was good. Really enjoyed your buffet breakfasts, the dinner menu was disappointing in choice and the evening service was poor, both my partner and I were unable to eat the steak that was served....very poor value for money considering you are rated a 5* hotel. Thankfully the breakfast made up for that.

staff went out of there way to help when I lost my cell phone. The assistant manager on duty was very accommodating. all the wait staff at the restaurant were extremely pleasant, and very polite. The room was clean and fresh. The only negative I can say is that $7.00 for one small bottle of Still water was very high! Needless to say, I made sure that my daughter did not drink it :-)

When we arrived in our room there was a lovely card for Mr & Mrs Kumar, that is not us! The room had great views, was clean and very comfortable. Was looking forward to a great nights sleep but the noise level outside was loud until 4am, although this is not the hotel's problem maybe double glazing would help. Breakfast was amazing.

Arriving early on Friday I got a room although being there well before the official check-in time. Fantastic flexibility by the reception staff member as I explained that my taxi was waiting for me changing from wearing jeans into an outfit required for then being a speaker at the 2018 ASAPS & NZAPS conference at the CORDIS hotel. The lady at the reception desk made it possible! Many thanks for that!

Very well appointed hotel, excellent staff, Felt Wine prices too expensive, happy hour price is what it should be at all times, good quality breakfast, Bacon a little over cooked, minor issue. Other than that, doors to rooms heavy and made a lot of noise when people exiting their room if they let them slam.
