I usually accommodate in hotel every month , as I request from my work to book for me in novotel , also I know all staff , so I feel like home , but this visit was not like every time , my room neighbours were usually fighting , I think they were from gulf .

Dear Accor, I arrvived to Sharm El Sheikh on a extended Business Strip last week. During my stay at the Novotel mountain side hotel I faced couple of issues, those issues are related to customer service, room hygiene, corporation and standard of 5 star hotels. I even had to checkout and switch to a different hotel because of the blew issues. Below are some of the main concerns that I hope you take into consideration not only for me but also for other guests. 1. Cooperation and style of communication with customers. 2.The Resturant ( i.e hygiene of the table, cutleries arrangements, buffet quality and neatness, freshness of the food, cleanses of the buffet, etc) 3. Room Service ( Food temperature, quality, customer order, proffesional and friendly staff) 4. The Room ( cleaness, focusing during making up the room and full amenities during making up the room) Those are the summary points and not everything that needs to be taken in account in order to meet a 5 star hotel standards. Below are the issues I faced in the hotel. A. Room service order didn't come as I requested, cold, no salt and pepper cutlieres, tray looks very bad and the tray was Kept outside for more than 12 hours although the employee sow it and decided to leave it on the floor. B. Requested to get a nearer room to the gates and the receptionist Recomended to give an even more farthest room. Doesn't sound right! C. When my room got cleaned the employee forgot his wiper in the toilet, no towels was refreshed and the bed wasn't sorted to the standard. I will conclude all the above points. 1. Customer Focus 2. Hygiene of the whole facility ( Inside out) 3. Proffesionlisim 4. And finally following the real 5 star hotel standard.

Reception: First of all I have to say that Mr.Ali receptionist is a great guy as first impression, helpful, smiling, sincere welcoming, customers fucose .. Even if I asked them to give me another room because mine wasn't swimming pool or garden view even, the request was with Mr. Amro and I didn't feel that my request took any consideration ,I informed him pls my kids they just came from Italy and this the first time for them to come to sharm , So I would love to let them enjoy the maximum but this what happened .I am sure that the hotel was Not that full , Room: Bad view,bunch of hair was on my daughter's bed when we just arrived! ,I was forced to lie to her that this maybe this from her hair.. which is Not truth! TV: Signal was bad, control working randomly. Air-condition : was not working properly ,it was hot,and I informed the reception while I was following up the second day to change the room. Food& Beverage: I was Not happy at all, first the food was really very poor variety,way of cooking very ordinary , Nothing special, something that you can cook at home even if you don't know how to cook properly, a lot of food on the buffet in room temperature without any consideration to the food safety, diced tomatoes I call the waiter and I informed him in private ..pls take it to the chef inside coz it's spoiled already!, Restaurant door was most of the time open and there are a lot of Flies. Pasta with tomatoes sauce in second time when they refill the new food was adding to the old food and the taste was Completely different! I can say that Wrong ingredients has been added by mistake.I send plate with both types of pasta to the chef just to be sure that we didn't eat something not good! Service: I can see that staff was not happy and they are very annoyed of customers requirement, I believe They're in need for Training,they remove plates without even asking or talking this happened with me 2-3 times then I asked the waiter pls just ask before that you remove the plates! Tableware was not enough and you have to ask many waiter to get what you need. I am sorry to say this points but really I care so much about the quality of service in general, and if there is guest has all Inclusive doesn't mean that they stay for free!. I am sure that some (Egyptian) customers attitude is the reason behind this performance..but in the end this the hotel reputation's

We like almost everything: beach, sea, reef, seaside, exterior, interior, staff, room, except Food and baverage section. Small choise of meal, almost not tasty, every day the same. There is no snack on the beach, as we used to. Nevertheless, a la card restorants near the beach are good. Don't hesitade to go there. Novotel will be the best when will improve their cuisine.
