« Strange approach »

Dissapointed with invoicing before the end of a stay because of VAT change (31.10 to 1.11.2018). For a difference of ca 5 EUR totally spoilt the image of a customer friendly hotel... Next time another place.

A fine and pleasant stay at a lovely hotel. Good size, comfortable room with a decent internet connection. Only things that could really be improved are the speed of service in the restaurants and a newer mattress on the bed.

As a second stay in this hotel I was not surprised neither of the room nor of the service or the food variety and quality in both restaurants. The only issue that as they told me is up to the reservation center is the half-board rate that I always book and as I was told I am the first in three years, the fact is that the hotel is not notified of this kind of reservation so because I will probably return there and will use the half-board rate again it will be more comfortable is this issue will be finally resolved.

Nice hotel but useless for Accor members. I have a silver card and was not even offered a voucher for a free drink. So far all Bucharest Accor Hotels (Pullman and Mercure) have been disappointing and really need to work on quality and customer service.

Everything is OK, except the breakfast. During the breakfast there is some small problems quite often - no glasses for drinks, dirty tables, broken coffee machine. Also, erlier you could have fried eggs or omlete for breakfast, now there are none of them.

For some reason, my keycard didn't initially work and had to get another one. Room looked a little tired. Bed was comfortable but wasn't very long - I'm not that tall but my feet stuck out the bottom. Breakfast space is a little cramped and range of food was limited compared to other Bucharest hotels in which I've stayed. Also the coffee machines in the dining room were not always working. Your best asset was your staff and I couldn't fault their attitude at all, always helpful without being obsequious. And though the room and the hotel in general was clean, things like the fittings and tiling in the bathroom could do with an overhaul and deep clean. Having said that, there is enough about this hotel that meets my requirements and I would be happy to stay here on my next business trip.

« Reasonably priced hotel halfway between the city and the airport »

Was a comfortable , be it a little dated , room but in perfect condition . The restaurant and bar also offer a good varied menu , but is expensive for this type of establishment. The buffet breakfast like in most Accord Group hotels , was disapointing...probaby as a result of the chains French heritage ,where breakfast is a light croissant and coffee affair . Best to be avoided , poor quality ingredients ,cold scrambled eggs , not replenished hot drinks machine , and at 10 am no staff in attendance .

« Not so good »

When I arrived at the hotel, there was a room for me just across the elevator. I wanted another room to avoid the waking up early in the morning when the staff arrive at the hotel. There wasn’t another room and the person from the front office told me I should take that room. I told her I need to find another hotel in this situation and I don’t want to pay any cost in this situation. She told me the Accor website will take the money from my card anyway. Finally they find a room but the cleaning should be done in an hour. Ok, I took that room. It was 5 pm. I had to use the restroom across the front desk and this was unclean too. I didn’t like much the breakfast.

The hotel is nice, if not a little dated in room appearance. The breakfast hostess was outstanding and very caring. The rest of the breakfast staff needs some work. Rolling eyes at customers and telling clients you are not going to make more crepes with 30 minutes left is NOT acceptable.
