Despite of a very early booking in 2 months and e-mail communication with Ms Zsuzsanna HORVATH my check-in was the longest I have ever experienced. It took too long for a front-desk manager to find out how use my rewarding points. The bathroom was full of hair after shaving. I am happy that was only one night.

The hotel is located in Pesta near to a forest. This thing leads to the invasion of the rooms - at least in the summertime in this year- by various insects. You will know about this only when you go into the room - is a nice printed paper in which you are announced that those insects do not have effects on humans). Also, clean and spacious rooms (maybe it should be renovated). Friendly and kindly staff. Breakfast may be varied (a little range choices). The hotel is far from city center, but it is easy to arrive at the airport. Is a good hotel for transit through Budapest (Hungary) by car.

While I had already checked in on line I was waiting to be serviced at the designated counter until I asked loudly for service. Unfortunately the AC didn't cool the room down, the pillow was lumpy and the bed was twisted. I slept very little that night. In addition there were not electrical outlets in the room, except for the one used by the TV. The extra outlet in the bathroom worked only if the light was turned on.

« It was fine but... »

The overall stay was fine : location near the metro, rather clean room and new bed mattresses but I also found many black dots on the bed settings (bed sheets and duvet cover) : a distinctive sign of bedbug infestation. They did not look fresh though, there were probably old evidences of a previous infestation but that brought up very unpleasant memories and triggered anxiety : I did not sleep well - every morning monitoring the number of dots to see if there were new ones.... Bed settings should be washed and rewashed several times before being used once again... How then can the cleaning ladies check the presence of bedbugs ?

« Great place to stay, but it is not near the airport »

This is a great hotel at a good price, however we thought we were booking at the IBIS Budapest Airport hotel (the new one), and this one is about a 15- to 20-minute taxi ride from the airport. You also must get a taxi to go to the downtown tourist area of Budapest. So if you want to book at a hotel near the airport, make sure it is the IBIS Budapest Airport hotel, not Aero

This my forth stay at this hotel always found the hotel clean tidy. The staff at reception at bar are always helpful and seem very efficient The only criticism I had was menu has been changed from previously and some items were not for me

« Ok hotel . Paid way too much. »

Ok hotel roomwise, good food, staff- some good , some bad . Most disappointing was the parking, for €17 I expect it to be reasonably secure . It was accessible by anyone as the security gate didn't work. The fence is only 3ft tall, so no deterrent to any thief nearby! Standard hotel otherwise, but way overpriced .
