« Extremely pleasant, as always »

My husband and I used Ibis Falaise, many times when we were visiting France, regularly. It was one of our favourite hotels. Due to my husbands long illness, I have only been able to visit France two to three times a year, recently. I returned to Falaise, with my daughter and grand children, for my grandchildren's first experience of visiting France. I had not stayed in Falaise, for seven years. I was not disappointed. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the breakfast generous. It was a wonderful experience for my grandchildren, for their first morning in France. Many thanks to all the staff.

« Very friendly staff, wonderful service, and great location! »

We had a wonderful stay with IBIS in Falaise. The services were very commodious, as you could get coffee and beer at any time! Wonderful having the restaurant there also. The only drawback we found, was the room got stuffy as there was no way to get air, besides leaving the window wide open (it was very hot outside!). Also, the pillows were hard. Other than that, a great visit!

« A Good Stop »

We stopped over from the evening Portsmouth - Caen Ferry. Just 35mins easy toll free run to a nice welcome, clean room and a good breakfast before we went on our way. Good value. Why not more stars? No air conditioning on what was a blazing hot night, the extractor fan did not work in our room either. The open window let in various extraneous noises...burglar alarms, teenager with mopeds and the all night fuel station opposite. Please ask for a room overlooking the rear lawned area and check that the fan works! Near miss IBIS.......but it will not stop us using Falaise again.

Emeline and her team are performing at the top of their game. Not to be missed. Dining here was a real treat. A chef who knows his onions, and the best pommes frites this side of the channel.

A very pleasant short overnight stay, en route to Chinon. The welcome was very warm, and our booking was easily found. The bar and front of house was as clean and tidy as in every Ibis Hotel! Our rooms were clean, tidy and ready, and fully equipped for our comfort. The restaurant and bar provided all we needed, with an excellent meal and drinks outside in the evening sun. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable.

Does what it says it does. Good accommodation. Decent breakfast. Efficient staff. Comfortable bed, good shower. Just right for a short stay in route. Not far from ferry and avoids Caen in the morning for a journey South. Stayed there 30 times or more so there cannot be much wrong.

The hotel was very pleasant. Good location - near town, motorway and local shopping . The staff were very helpful. We had stayed 6 nights in Accor hotels - this Ibis Hotel in Falaise was the best night. We were disappointed with the other hotels .

« Exactly as expected »

We stay often. Ibis Falaise is very well placed as a stop over point on journeys between our house in Tan et Garonne and the Ouistreham ferry to Portsmouth. From SW France, a day's driving takes us nicely to Falaise where we overnight before driving to Ouistreham to take the morning ferry. Returning, the afternoon ferry from Portsmouth docks in the late evening, enabling us to stay at Falaise and to get an early start on our our way home the following morning. We are always warmly welcomed and comfortable during our stay.

The Ibis hotel at Coeur de Falaise is a good, basic hotel. The rooms are small, but very clean and comfortable. They have been recently refurbished in modern colours and style. The restaurant serves good food at a reasonable price. Staff are friendly and very helpful. We had a great three day stay.
