The design and reception for check-in was excellent! The concierge is also very professional! I was with my mother for her retirement celebration and I believe we have the best view of Nile from our room! So thbKful to the receptionist! We were in the hotel super late for check-in, but I do very very like to have a nice refresh drink while waiting the receptionist to process our check-in The breakfast is good but not meet our excellent expectations, because of the less variety of food. Compared to Sofitel Cairo, we do feel limited choice for breakfast. However, service is excellent! Just the chef in egg stand can be with more attention Spa looks nice but we can’t make the reservation for massage because it was too late. Probably a little tip to ask the guest to reserve ahead with a specific duration would be more thoughtful. Products of cleaness n body care are ok but I do prefer the one in Sofitel China. But just a thought~ In the end the whole experience for us was way surpass our expectation! Keep going and I will definitely be back for vocation in the near future

Really, i can't describe how i was excited and you exceeded my expectations.it started from the reservation how it was friendly, efficient and professional. We arrived the hotel and we met a wonderful staff from the hotel enterance till our room door. They gave us a very comfortable and warm welcome along with a very delicious welcome drink and nice cold towels. The accommodation was excellent and the room view is more than fantastic also the service is more than perfect. I would like to thank every one in this hotel for the anticipatory service they provided, they made our stay memorable and really NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE IT. All the staff is very very nice and make you feel like home and they provide a luxury service in a luxury hotel. Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing. We were a bit disappointed to learn that the "Nile Wing" is actually the "New Cataract Hotel" but now that we've cleared that up and understand to book the Palace Wing everything is back in order! The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. The suites are divine as well!

A classic and historical hotel, it would feel wrong going to Aswan and not staying at least a few days at the Old Cataract. While Summer is the off season we still got to enjoy every aspect of the hotel, including the necessary drinks on the terrace at sundown. Do note that if you want to be in the old building you should book the Palace Wing, but if you prefer the view you can book the Nile wing which has been wonderfully updated. It should also be noted that the beds are the best we've found in Egypt so far! A silly addition but a seemingly necessary one after 3 weeks of hard beds!
