« Faulty Towers »

No one new what the other person was doing. Receptionist chewing gum and finishing lunch behind the counter. Phone was not connected in my room. Wall paper hanging of the walls. TV in bedroom couldn't turn off. It was fixed but I don't expect that when i come to a room. I regarded it as a comedy so that made our stay more acceptable. I had just come back from America and it was a very much a distinction between the service industry in the hotels. From the manners to the cost.

« Most things in the hotel were good. »

The room was crap. There was only one bedside table. One lamp. One desk and an upright chair. No we're to sit in comfort to watch T V. If you wanted to have room service there was no where to eat. The carpets in the room and passage ways was split at all the joins. The shower was full of black mould.

The checkin staff were nice, and I was given a nice room....But the Hotel feels tired..fom the moment you get into the lifts, and the floor buttons are worn, all the mark son the walls as you walk down the hallways, get to your room, and there is wallpaper coming away from the walls in the corners, look out onto the balcony with a nice view, and its spoilt by the rust and the render falling off.....

It was very relaxing and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and they arranged bedding to suit our needs at short notice. Perfectly situated just across from the beach and close to restaraunts and a supermarket within walking distance. The children enjoyed the pool and the staff down at the gym were great.

My Son and I enjoyed the experience of staying in your hotel. We had a couple of small complaints that were not acted upon. The toilet system when using a full flush kept running and we had to lift the lid to stop it. The shower leaked through the silicon under the shower door wetting the bathroom floor. We asked the reception to fix it the next day while we were out.but beside that very enjoyable.

Only a brief stay. Check-in staff friendly and helpful. Room had great view over the bay. Quiet, large room and very clean. The only thing is the decor is somewhat dated. Would be happy to,stay there again.

1. Pleasantly greeted at reception. 2. start walking to elevator, noticed stained and scratched furniture, mold growing in the elevator glass shaft and wall paper hanging off in areas. 3. Get up to our floor and on exiting the elevator, scratched and dirty furniture. 4. Go into our room, tired & scratched furniture, wall paper peeling off the wall.

« Great service but shabby hotel »

Customer service was prompt, friendly, courteous and efficient. The hotel looked tired and old - wallpaper peeling off the walls; tap handle falling off in bath; dripping shower; dirty walls in corridor. The people next door had their tv volume up and I could hear it through the wall. Could also hear their talking. The walls seemed thin and it was really noisy and hard to sleep.

Location is great for easy access to some lovely local dinning. Close to airport which can be slightly noisy but not enough to spoil the outlook. Room we stayed in was King Suite with botany bay views Very comfortable and get value for money.

The hotel rooms in desperate need of refurbishment as all cupboards etc as "pass the use by date" yet it still expensive. The light in the lounge room fell off the wall - very dangerous and seems like it has happened previously and management did a band aid job and did not fix it properly. Room needs more lighting. When I booked I though I had a corner suite but apparently not and despite letting hotel know we were arriving early (12.30pm) room was not ready till 2.30pm. As Accor members we did not get a room upgrade either. Breakfast was over priced and there was lack of cuttlery. People had to find their own table and yet this is classed as a 4 star hotel. Chef wears gloves but handles food without changing his gloves. Definately needs revamping. Staff were all very nice and helpful.

The hotel has a terrible smell in hallways & if the aircon idle turned in in the rooms. There are constant running problems, keys won’t work in lifts (experienced this myself & watched dozens of other people experience the same thing), rooms aren’t ready on time, boom gate keys don’t work. You just feel nothing works. The carpet looks tired, wet & dirty. The air conditioner runs so loud & cracky there is no chance you could sleep with it on. The TV had no reception. The bed was made with a protector & sheets that were too small for it so all came undone in the night. The soundproofing was terrible & I know you can’t help guest behaviour but the neighbors kept me up all night out on their balcony smoking & talking loudly. All that was the second room after we were moved from the room we were put into. The first room we were put in was dirty, smelly, the bath full of dust. Uninhabitable & should not be rented out unless you want to start a backpackers. It was a terrible stay. I have a two because the breakfast set up was adequate & the staff at the reception (besides the uppity one in the desk at the centre of reception) were helpful & responsive.
